Sword Dance, Traditional / arr. Bob Phillips - Score & Sound
0:57 I love this bit
This is 300% more relax than the rest of the songs that were playing at my next concert.
Until you start playing it LOOOOL we are doing this for my spring concert
as an 11th grader trombone 1 player, i DO NOT find danzas cubanas to be chill rn lol
(the solo is pretty damn fun though)
Ok so the band version is a million times better.
MadlyAwesomeismyname IKR! the saxes a 0:57 sound 1000x better
@@simonjulien3767 it’s because there’s strings with it
@@simonjulien3767 ye they should of just kept the saxes in this piece with strings.
Would help if the strings were playing with any drive at all
Ok they gotta upload score to the band version
4:40-5:05 trumpet solo :p
i hate it, i had to learn it in under a week because our lead trumpet decided to let us know he wasn’t gonna be there for the concert

If y'all are wondering why it's so bland, it's probably cause this was created digitally, meaning it's a midi file. They're used to give the score writer (and sometimes conductor) an idea of how the piece goes while also leaving most of it up to interpretation. So yes, it's not very exciting, but that's kind of the point of these. If you were to listen to one actually practiced and played by an irl band, it would be much more energetic.
This is a live recording, just not a fantastic one.
Nope, this is a live recording. The studio musicians just didn't care that day I guess
2:27 - really? You couldn’t re take that?
hahahaha i knew i recognized you, you did the smartmusic videos
It's a midi file and no one would ever actually try adding raw emotion in a song that's entirely digitally recorded.
@@reinburhythm3215do you might have an idea what library they used?
1:27 - my god. Sounds like from some sort of baroque solo. Put some personality into it for god’s sake
No
@@ryanpearcey2567 not really. It’s not crazy high
I know I didn't play it exactly as written, but what about my performance of that solo?
