Have the non gold version. I’ll wear it today in your honor. I recommend wearing it even with the lug overlap. Gets smaller the longer one wears it. Put a blue nato on mine.
Way to be a trooper. Leave the complaining for those who enjoy it. Wear in good health.
'Sits quite comfortably'. Cmon Tim, its look like a clock on you wrist.
Wow, gorgeous watch.
I love it
Love it
Props to IWC for using a solid caseback (more gold!) even when the movement is nice to look at. Unless a certain sister Richemont brand *cough*.
Why would I want more gold on the case? 46 mm isn't enough for you? I'd rather have a display back and see gold on the rotor.
@@highnrising because a gold rotor is still less gold than a case back. It's a value prop. It's also functionally correct for a solid caseback on the pilots watches.
@@gyang333 If you're really obsessed with walking around with more gold on your wrist than wear a watch with a gold bacelet for crying out loud. And what's functionally correct about a solid caseback? A traditional pilot's watch is not gold, anyway, And whether the back is gold or glass does not affect the watch's functionality a whit.
@@highnrising I have a watch on a gold bracelet chill. My point is, you get more gold for the buck with a solid caseback. because you know the brands with a sapphire caseback aren't charging slightly less for the lack of a solid case back.
Too big for your wrist, hate to break it to you. That is akin to a clock, which is actually its original purpose, easy visibility for pilots during WW2. No way this is sized for my daily wear. I was a little shocked when John Mayer said he wore his as often as he did.
That’s large. Nice looking but large.,
That crown is an absolute deal breaker.
Really?? I love it for that crown!! :D It is a MONSTER of a watch though. I couldn't even wear it on my foot
It's very fun to wind.
Crown is what makes it perfect
