    As I sit here crafting in my own world, i have videos of UA-cam artists on in the background. There's not much that would stop me in my tracks, but this did! I searched my closet for my old shrink plastic and I'm now trying to make these. Lol I absolutely love this idea and I would have never thought it up. So, thank you for sharing another awesome idea.

    How beautiful and a great idea to use the heat gun instead of the oven.....back in the 80s we had a mishap with shrinky dinks and I have never attempted using them again...but now I can control the heat gun, I am inclined to try it out! Thank you!

    Hello from Australia Gi😊 I have heaps of shrink plastic. About a month ago I pulled it out but life changed with my mum going to hospital. You have been a light in my day on UA-cam while I sit with her. So much inspiration. Thanks for keeping me company for a half an hour 🥰

    I wonder if you chop your leftover small pieces of shrink plastic into tiny bits, add them to a white resin and make (I think it’s called Terazzo) tiles? I don’t have any experience with resin, so I don’t know if this would work. Do you shrink the plastic first? Will it melt under UV? I don’t know, but if I had the tools, I’d try it.

    Hello Gi
    LOVE this video tut. and yes please, would love a video on how to make the little flowers with the dingly dangly's. I'd like to make two of those and turn them into earrings.
    Regarding the Resin and the Lamp that you use to 'cure' the resin....
    I clicked the link for the resin, but it takes me to an oval bottle of what looks like a different resin. Is it the same stuff? Or is Amazon taking me to a different product.
    Also .... having never used the Lamps or Resin before I hoped for a link to the same lamp as you use. But found no link. Could you please point me in the right direction so that I don't end up buying the wrong thing.
    Many thanks Gi.
    Have a blessed week! ~ Cobs. x

    Hey Gi....I just happened upon your video while doing a YT search, and I'm so glad I did. These are absolutely stunning! I do have Shrink Plastic in Clear and Black but have never used it. May I ask, can you use any type of ink on the Shrink Plastic? I will do a search on your channel to see if you have a tutorial on coloring the Shrink Plastic. I've never used resin either and was wondering how long it lasts in those bottles you have yours in? I thank you for sharing and wanted you to also know that I found your instruction so easy to follow (I watch a ton of craft tutorials) so you are a natural teacher, dear. I'm off to search some of your other tutorials. Until next time, Gi.... PS: Just noticed the link you shared in video description so may find info I'm looking for...thanks again

    • @GiKerr
      @GiKerr  2 роки тому

      Hi Nancy Thank you. It is really trial and error but you can use alot of different mediums on it. The resin last along time, just keep it in a dark place. That's what I do. Away from UV light. Hugs Gi x

    Have you ever tried Diamond Glaze on these rather than resin? If so how did it work?

  • @MinxysStudioUK
    @MinxysStudioUK 2 роки тому

    I love how they turned out. It's good to know you can gel print on the plastic too. I love your colour choices 😍😍
    Do you use an LED lamp or a UV one? I have an LED one already for setting my Gel nail polishes. I really want to add the resin to my birthday wishlist but if you can use an LED lamp, I don't need to add the UV lamp to the list as well!!! xoxo
