Diners get one hour in which to finish a huge sandwich chocked full of pulled pork, brisket, burger patties, onions, pickles, slaw and accompanied by a half pound of mac 'n cheese. If you can get it down inside the time limit, the $77 meal is FREE, you get a spot on their wall of fame and a t-shirt...if you can't, it's a lifetime of indignity on the wall of shame...

I think Molly and I both agree that for each of us, that was/is the absolute worst bun we've each ever had as part of a challenge. She said it was like shoe leather and I cannot disagree haha.

She’s an employee. Place is right down the road from my work and I tend to eat here more often than not. Food is decent but not the best in the world.

She actually works there. a lot of restaurants here the people dress very casually and the only identifier they work there is the business name is usually on the t-shirt they're wearing.

And I don’t think he realizes that those challenges do bring people in. Some to try who will likely fail. And those like the beard who ace it and ultimately his viewers nearby that location will likely visit just to check the place out and try other food there.
Especially when he comments that the challenge tastes good. And if the challenge item is tasty then the rest of the menu should be.

The fact that those folks could essentially watch you best that challenge on their lunch break needs to be recognized. You crush these challenges in less time than most of us eat a soup and sandwich!!! It's absolutely magnificent to watch.

Is it not normal for servers to be nice? (Especially when they're on camera) Their job revolves around getting tips. I mean I've had servers that didn't pay enough attention but never anyone that was just rude

For most of 2023 I had multiple bowl obstructions because I had a hernia that was messing with my bowels so I couldn't eat and lost a little over 100 pounds. I finally had to have surgery in November, so I kind of know what you're going through. I wish you luck and (if you don't mind) I will pray for you!

Free health care mate??? In Canada we are taxed to death for it and still have to buy insurance in case something serious goes wrong. The waiting lists for treatment are six months or more here. Try getting a family doctor. Good luck with that! This concludes my rant for the day. Enjoyed the challenge mate. Noble victory!

In the US the people on welfare get free Healthcare along with the border invaders..... paid for by the WORKING AMERICAN TAXPAYERS. NOTHING IS .... FREE
Same in the outskirt of Paris, you'd be surprised at the number of GP that refuses new patients...
The only backup is the hospital emergency, wich is already completly saturated and you can easily be stuck there for 10h straight

Every time I see a bowl of mac-n-cheese, I am reminded of the King of The Hill episode where the family goes to a buffet. After loading his tray with meat, Peggy tells Hank that he needs to get some vegetables too. So Hank says, "OK, give me a scoop of mac-n-cheese!"

Can’t believe I missed you passing through my part of he state. Greenville is awesome but some of the small towns around it have the best local food you can get in the Southeast. Midway in Union has the best bbq and pulled pork you can ask for.

Nothing is "free". SOMEONE has to pay for it. When you understand the mechanics of how the whole system works, and then you look at how poorly it functions, you come to the realization that it's NOT actually as good as it sounds on paper.

Yeah I'm from Maryland and when I joined the Navy and was stationed in South Carolina, the hospitality was amazing... The hot summers on the other hand.... holy hell lmao.
