From my experience browsing fan covers on musescore, some fan arr's are over simplified and sound crap, whilst others require 7 hands and 2 brains (very little in between). This however is beautiful, sight read first try (like with mistakes and at like 60% speed) and got to at least get a feel of playing the piece. But I also know, especially after listening to this performance, how far this arrangement can go, especially with dynamics and voicing. Truely a work of art to play and experience for yourself. Something's bugging me. I listened to this video a so much. My favorite moment is at 4:09, where unlike the other times, you don't play the D note of the melody. The effect is incredible, the melody is "hanging" at this moment. But I looked on your score, and this D note is definitely present, at measure 179. Even stranger, by looking closely, I see your right hand playing that D note at 4:09... but I'm definitely not hearing it. What happened? Is this absence accidental? Am I the only one hearing that?
In my mind, it's simply a mistake - I played the octave so softly that the hammer didn't hit the string and it didn't make any sound. That's why it's visible, but not audible! I wrote it into the sheet because, again, I simply see it as a mistake. I find it fascinating that you enjoy the effect it gives! I would have never done it on purpose

Hey Caliko, awesome piece! I have been thinking of doing a piano cover on Moonlit Night from Death Parade and I really enjoy your playing of it. Do you have any tips on playing that specific song? I have been playing for 5 months now and am excited to try out this song!
Thanks! As for tips - depends on what you're struggling with. Moonlit Night requires a lot of sensitivity and that's something that comes with practice, usually only when you've already learned the piece well enough. There is one part with the left hand arpeggios near the end that might be a bit tricky, but it's great training, especially if you haven't been playing for long :) Pay attention to the fingering in the right hand, it makes all the difference! All in all I think it's a good piece to try after 5 months. It's an intermediate piece, practice it slowly and you should be good! If you find any specific parts you're struggling with feel free to ask :)

I arranged this one by ear so I don't have any sheet music - yet. I'm considering transcribing it even just to have sheets to play from in a few years once my muscle memory fails me, that's probably gonna take some time though, sorry for now!
