I'm not abt to explain that to my 75+ yr old mom bc she will also have to get a different case - which is another convo id like to avoid... lol I have an android and use a super fast charger by samsung and it's ridiculously fast... almost too oddly fast. 😆
I have the S24 Ultra. Androids are far superior to the flawed Apple devices. It drives me insane that my mom has an apple because she asked me questions and I do not know the answers and it pisses me off.... my brother talked her into getting an apple and I told her to get an android and she listened to him and of course she can never get a hold of him... so here here we are......
It is true the E. U. has forced Apple to change and since everything else is USBc that’s what apple now has to use and it has been this way for 2 years now I have both an iPad mini and an iPad Pro that I got 2 years ago the mini is this year’s set up as of February and both of them are using USBc so you can now get any cable from anywhere and it will work
Any iPhone made in the past few years uses USB C. Glad Apple was forced to go mainstream. USB C is pretty amazing in that you can send a video connection over it if your monitor and computer supports it. Becoming an all in one cable.
@@RURdy4It I looked it up. The Wiki article has a section on their Lightning Connector article on the transition to USB-C. As of September 2023, all mobile devices they make has USB-C. It appears like the iPhone 15 / 15 Pro was the first iPhone model not produced with a Lightning connector. The iPads got the USB-C connector first.

Yes usb-c
THANK YOU!
Yes standard USB-C. This was mandated by Europe
Good because their proprietary crap was ridiculous
I always use a MagSafe charger, much faster.

Both are fine, USB-C power delivery will be slightly faster, as with any direct conductivity.
even the new Androids use usb c now my S 24 uses a usb c cord. I bought an extra one when I got my phone because I hate just having one cord.

Wonder how much - estimate - loss of revenue Apple will have now that pple can bypass their proprietary equipment...
