Very cool, and brought back a ton of awsome memories, too! I got my first NES for Christmas, in 1987, I believe it was, along with a 13" color TV (my mom worked her a*s off to get me that stuff, or anything else she ever bought me). I was around 10 years old around that time, maybe just under that. To really date my age, that TV had the 2 turning dials, one for the channel, and the other for the "tuning" of the channel that you were on (glad those days are long gone!!). Later got my Genesis in the early part of the 1990's, and then my SNES in the mid 1990's. Man, I'd trade anything in the World to go back to those times!!! Such fun times/days back then. Thanks for the walk back down memory lane. 🙂👍
Brings back all the good memories, all the bad memories, all the frustrating memories, tossing the controller memories, playing with family and bro memories. It brings it all back just by looking at that, Thank You for sharing & Merry Christmas🙏
So true... my brother slamming the Sega controller & it exploding because he couldn't beat the boss on Altered Beast... I had to hide my controller lol
My first system was the Atari 2600 🤣😂 Old fart here. But, Ive owened them all. Such great memories from my late teen/early 20's 😎 I need to get those for my tree. Great gift James!
ROFL, oh those are awesome! I'm not a gamer, but both my boys played all through their childhoods. I remember telling them "If I have to hear that Nintendo song ONE MORE TIME.....!" LOL, love this!
Awesome! The sega and snes take me right back to when I was a small kid in the early to mid nineties. I’m going to have to get these! Thanks for sharing!
@ I saw that! And they certainly are! I saw a video of the snes from this channel that makes videos about the 90s. The sega one has convinced me to get them now 😂
I still buy and play more NES/SNES games than I do for any other system and they are both still hooked up to my CRT from the 90's. Never had a Genesis (best friend did) but have been collecting carts for the past few years for it and plan to get a Retron 5 one day to play them, along with all my Game Gear games, since it broke down a few years back.
I collect sega/NES/SNES games as well because I have those systems... some games are really expensive... not even necessarily popular ones either. I never pay those prices... i have been lucky to find people listing them cheaper by saving the search on eBay. My favorite game for sega is the original Toe Jam & Earl... and yikes... cartridge only - not even good shape can run $30... complete I've seen up to $100 if in excellent condition... if average, still 50-60 bucks. I was able to acquire that game cheaper, complete... 😁
@stevekaczmarczyk9701 i got them as gifts - hallmark website retail around $20 each - but ebay can find cheaper. If he bought the listing I sent at the time, significantly cheaper - I think total was $32 for all 3
