What an honour to work along side you Dom and to have been invited to share our crafts at this prestigious event. I enjoyed every part of it with sharing the workshop area with Eddy Artist , Joby Carter who I still owe a pint too! and many other craftsmen and woman. It really was an eyeopener for me and everyone else. I look forward to joining you next year and finishing this piece of glass work which was created by over 100 people so far. Keep inspiring the people Dom its amazing. Thank you.
You really are Barnum to the greatest revive and thrive show on earth! The talent and skills you’ve accumulated in one area is second to none. Be very very proud of what you, and your team are achieving.
Thank you so much for giving those of us across the pond a wonderful view of such an historic event. Your spanner and Ranalah looked amazing and we loved your visits with all the experts that helped you ( missed John though). Love your enthusiasm and energy! Great job!
Watched the Goodwood Revival on E4 TV good to see the camera work in Revive and Thrive. Many Thanks for sharing your side of the day very enjoyable watch.
What a beautiful film, great camera work and editing which shows the positive vibe from Dominic and all the crafts he brought together....this film will make my wife want to come to Goodwood Revival with me......sadly I think I am too old to be an apprentice but what skills.....a job which has a start and finish is very rewarding.......instead of a larger sales target every year......in a relentless hamster wheel....hmm I think I have a cunning plan. Well done Dominic I love to see nice people being successful!
@@DominicChineas that's true... with UA-cam guidance just replaced broken valve spring and lapped valves on recent classic purchase.....is was less complex than my sons lego technic.....and compared to your 356 resto... a five min job. Hope you have the same set-up at next year's event. Something to be very proud of.
Oh we need to arrange it so me and the Mrs can get down to Goodwood next year! Not only the racing and the crafts but, with sign painting, gilding, mechanical work going on, it must have had an amazing nostalgic smell to the whole thing!
Hi Dom, this was our first Goodwood but it definitely won't be the last, so much to see and do. The giant spanner was a work of art. See you there next year
Well, that was special. I watched Goodwood’s coverage all weekend hoping they would spend some time in R&T but was disappointed. Luckily several of my favorite UA-camrs stepped up and gave us little insights. This one of yours, however, is a work of art. Congrats to you both.
We've totally got to be there next year and I can see it probably ending up being a big family outing! (The spanner is AMAZING) I would *love* to try the crafts in the workshop area if it's there again next year. Thanks Dan for a great video.
The spanner looked great and really looked a solid piece of metal. Did you ever weigh it ? Thanks for showing us all the skilled people in their element passing on the knowledge (which can then lead to skills). Top job everyone
Fantastic , what a great event. I went there over 20 years ago and it's certainly bigger than ever. I would love to see those crafts and have a go! Well done Dom for your amazing enthusiasm xx
Revive and Thrive was really good this year, thanks for your work on it! It was great to be able to say hello to you, and to meet David and get involved in the crafts.
Just fantastic! I’m a Yorkshireman who’s lived in several countries around the world settling in Vancouver 35 years ago. I came over for thé festival of speed a few years ago and have always had the revival on my bucket list. I think this is completely unique event with nothing equivalent anywhere else in the world. Dom, your involvement and expansion of revive & thrive this year just enhances what the revival is all about. This vid had inspired me further - I’ll definitely be there next year. Keep up the great work….. and, hope we’ll be seeing more of the Porsche soon? Thank you!
Lovely show and I was riveted to the YT live stream, awesome. I was a pain with my comments about your being there, with the Ranalah and could help sort out the bodywork after a nasty wreck of so many gorgeous vintage cars. The destruction is hard to watch but as the fellow said, “What are you going to do, hang it on the wall?” The spanner looked very impressive. Thank you and sad to go home I will bet. Cheers mate!
I’ve been going for over 20 years, as I member the access to paddocks is amazing. 12 mill for that GT40 but there was one row of Ferraris worth more than some countries!
Awesome video dom. thought it’d be hard to beat the joby carter one but this is just as amazing. Well done on such a busy few days you excelled in the revive and thrive. Just hope you had time to look around yourself. Great to see the lovely Ranalah being used. Now would love to se you dancing in the next goodwood video
Thank you so much, Dom. We only live about 5 miles from Goodwood and often thought about going to the Revival. You have definitely managed to get at least another 4 people to attend next year. Thanks again. Take care, mate.
A fantastic watch thanks I'll have to make the ef effort next year was at Brooklands and Kempton MC jumble yesterday now waiting for my flight back to Norway. Thankyou for sharing your knowledge and the Spit's at the end make a boring wait at Heathrow enjoyable. Old Molesey boy in Norway
Wow, just when you think revive and thrive can't be topped. Wonder what you'll do for it next year... Is it just me or does it look like the place gets busier and busier every year?! Think you have a role to play in all that Dom. What a role you have! Master of Revive & Thrive Ceremonies bringing everyone together. If I'm not mistaken it looked like you were very much in your happy place and rightly so. Congrats on another super Goodwood Festival!
It is lovely to see The Revival through so many different eyes. I have only missed one since it started and I think that you are bringing so much to it, congratulations.
Hi Dom great video, good to see that the Revive and Thrive area has taken off well after last years trial, keep up the good work, glad you could get some of those who've been on the channel in the past to help demonstrate their craft. Would love to see how that window gets finished after that gold leaf, maybe you could do a video on that?
You've truly excelled, Dom. You serve as an excellent reminder of the importance of maintaining our ties to the past. While progress is undeniably valuable, unchecked change without genuine advancement can be detrimental to our inner selves. Your outstanding efforts are much appreciated. Thank you for your remarkable work. cheers
Çongratulations Dom and everyone who helped thrive and revive the success it is. Goodwood look's totally amazing and everything from the vehicles to the crafts on display totally awesome definitely on my bucket list keep up the amazing work ♥️👌👍
What a fabulous event! It was our first time at Revival and we'll definitely return. It was really great to meet you, Joby and Dan. You're all just as nice as you seem on telly/YT! Pretty chuffed to spot us here chatting with you at 3:27 😮
Great behind the scenes footage, Dom. We love the racing but there's lots of that on the old UA-cam; so it's good to see a lot of the stuff that doesn't always get shown. Well done, and I have to say the spanner looks spectacular!!
Absolutely cracking video mate. I was at goodwood again this year. One of the main highlights was not the 250gto LM, D types spitfire fly by it was the spanner I couldn't wait to see it thank you and keep up the good work my friend
Well done Dom and credit to you for all the support you were able to drum up with the artists and skilled artisans in the revive and thrive area. I’m sure the telly box series have placed focus on these arts and crafts and with luck, that will encourage new artists to emerge. I’ve been inspired and I’m off to learn how to upscale furniture. Keep it going matey. W
Anybody know who produced the music, excellent choice ! and what a show, definitely on the bucket list. Cheers Dom, see you next year ?? All the best, R.
Absolutely brilliant, I wish I was there but unfortunately I was the far side of the med, I can’t put in words how pleased you must be how everything turned out What finish did you put on the big spanner, it looked so authentic
Well that year went rather quickly. It was a year ago u said I should come, but health reasons prevents it. Still glad it was all and more of what u expected ✌️🇬🇧
Thank you, it’s a lot of work making these videos for myself and Dan, just clicking the like button makes a big difference with the UA-cam algorithms thank you

What a terrific part of the Revival the “Revive and Thrive” has become, you must take a lot of responsibility for this, congratulations Dom!

Awesome video Dominic, and it was great to be part of the fantastic Revive & Thrive Workshop area for the entire Revival weekend.

Great to see the various craftspeople you have had on your channel working in Goodwood.

Nice video Dom. Who played the music?
Ashley Harding, Spoon Music.
Well that year went rather quickly. It was a year ago u said I should come, but health reasons prevents it. Still glad it was all and more of what u expected ✌️🇬🇧
The only problem with the show is it just isn’t long enough 😁
So true!
Only 10% of us can be bothered to click on the like button, seems a shame for such great content, one F'n click come on.
Thank you, it’s a lot of work making these videos for myself and Dan, just clicking the like button makes a big difference with the UA-cam algorithms thank you
Most of the Revival cars are reproductions as the originals are tucked away, never driven, and appreciating.
Be careful of pick pockets and loose women. Lol
