Spent the Summer of 2015 here working if everything goes according to plan I'll be back summer of 2023 beautiful state and beautiful town super nice folks they love visitors
We honestly had no idea what to expect and ended up having an amazing time. That sounds like a great way and place to spend the summer. Good luck! Emma & Jack
We would have loved to go to Fairbanks. It was initially on our list and had flights booked; however, we went when Alaska Airlines was going through their strike risk last year with pilots so we had to pivot to fly to Anchorage. Definitely will go next time! Thanks for watching. Emma & Jack
We don't talk about the carrot cake! 🤣 Alaska is absolutely, positively one of our favorite places, and we're so glad you had a great time there. Particularly awesome job catching all that fish!! Hope you take your RV up to Alaska (maybe next year), it's worth every bit of the effort. 👍 - Howard
Thanks so much for watching our video. It really means so much to us to have yal watch. Your videos and your story really give us inspiration and helped give us the energy to take this risk and put ourselves out there. Hope you are enjoying our beautiful home state of Colorado. This is the start of our favorite time of the year in the mountains as the seasons start the change.
Thanks much for watching, commenting and subscribing. We really appreciate it! Now if you get to our Homer fishing adventure vlog don’t judge us too much as we are not avid fisherman! We hope you enjoy your trip. We are going back again this year to Alaska since we enjoyed it so much. Emma & Jack
Awesome vlog as always! Camping through Alaska sounds like a wonderful idea. We are thinking about purchasing a camper when William retires next summer. The views were fantastic!! The food looks delicious. It’s almost like you can do an “eating through Alaska” vlog. 😊
Maybe we do a vlog next year about RVing to the best restaurants and breweries in Alaska. Yal will enjoy the RV so much. Not the best financial investment but from a family perspective we enjoy it every time. Especially living in Colorado we get to go in the mountains every weekend.
We totally could spend 2 weeks in Seward! We absolutely loved Alaska and will be going back this year and next year. It amazing that to live in a country that has so many places to visit for different experiences! We hope you get up there to enjoy the food! Have a great week and thanks for watching! Emma & Jack
Glad you stumbled across our video. It was filmed in late May of this year. Hope you enjoy the videos and let us know if you have any questions. Emma & Jack Live a Little
@@kkttss1928 our weather was great. We probably got luckier than most as we really only had 1-2 days of rain out of 2 weeks exploring Alaska. From what the locals told us, late May is before the rainy season so best chance to be able to have full days without rain. It is such an amazing trip and would highly recommend it to anyone. From the crisp air to the Mountain Views, it is honestly feels like a completely different country from the lower 48. Emma & Jack
Jack is the Director of Project Management for a food manufacturing company and I (Emma) am a stay at home mom since we had our little one. Prior to her being born, I was a textile and surface designer.
Just gotta say, you should have done the six hr boat, glacier wildlife tour, to really see Seward, besides town. I work on the tour boats out of Seward. You missed one of the most incredible boat areas anywhere, especially when you had great weather. By the way, lived all over coastal Alaska the past 42 years. Just saying.😉
That’s really great to know! We fell in love with Seward and definitely want to come back! We had previously done a cruise and the day before we were on a boat fishing all day so we kind of wanted to be on land! We did manage to see it from above in a helicopter! But I definitely want to try out the boats! (It was originally the plan for that day) It just means we will have to come back and do the glacier tour! Emma & Jack Live a Little
@@lindsayslivealittle Great to hear you got the “Alaskan bug”! Another place that’s a must is Kodiak island, not far from Seward or Homer by state ferry boat. It is a world of it’s own, even unique for Alaskan standards! Trust me! Do some research on Kodiak, take a week to really see it.😉👍
Good to know from a local! It was on my list but I couldn’t fit it in with the amount of time we had! But it will definitely be on the list for the next trip! Thanks so much for the tips!
Alaska was amazing. And Seward was a beautiful town with a lot to do. I would definitely recommend it. We saw a lot of Alaska and Seward was definitely up there on our favorite. Emma & Jack Live a Little

@@lindsayslivealittleYou guys really LUCKED OUT. I've worked in Seward for 2 Summers. And normally it's always rainy 🌧, and very dreary.

Go north to Fairbanks and you will get more sunshine late at night.

Amazing views in this video. Wow… can’t wait to go
Yal will enjoy every second. The views are just incredible and the people are what makes it even better. Such a drastic difference than the lower 48.

@@lindsayslivealittle thank for the reply. I'd love to take my family to Alaska but want to go during the "sunny / warmer" months.

We definitely agree on that. It was pretty pricey but overall was pretty good.
