If I lived next door, across the street, heck on the same street as you and you had this car out I would probably stand in my yard and just stare at it. No joke. Promise I'm not crazy, I'm just in awe of that car. Christine is one of my favorite movies and I would love to drive one once in my lifetime.
ericamichelle99 "Christine" is one of my all time favorite movies too. I fell in love with that car the very first time I saw it. I own the die cast model of Christine,as you can see on my channel. It's just too bad that my "welfare checks" can't cover the real thing,as some jerk posted on my video.
ericamichelle99 Lol that's very true,ma'am :) There sure are a whole lot of keyboard warriors and internet tough guys out there, that's for sure lol But anyway...I always thought it'd be kinda cool to see a "Christine" prequel, basically showing us the origin of Christine and the relationship between her and the original owner in 1957,which would be the old man's brother who Arnie bought the car from in the '83 film. That'd be awesome to see. Have it set in the 50's and everything.
The heartbroken Christine that was for sale layed in ruin and was running on six of eight cylinders, had extensive rust, massive collision damage to the body, broken suspension, bad brakes, devastated interior, bad oil rings on the pistons that did work, broken lights, hanging muffler, bald tyres, poor timing, at least one of the head gaskets blown, cracked cylinder heads, wrapped frame, and worst of all was unloved.
Well im a chevy man but u can see here hands down the 58 Plymouth fury in the red and white two tone SPANKS both the 57 and 58 chevy hell it even spanks the 59 chevy people back then must have been nuts to over look a car like this
Yep, I love 57 chevys, but I would much rather take this over a 58 chevy. I'm just a classic car guy I guess, if it looks good, ill have it, no matter what brand.
I have to say bro that you've really looked after that car and I'm really impressed by it. It would be my dream to sit in that car. You should be really proud of it bro. Respect!
no new car will come close to these wonderful old cars, the Fury is one of my favorites, probably because of the movie, congratulations Mr, yours is awesome ❤️
Some original Fury cars were destroyed. But most were reproduction rollers without so much as an engine and drive train in them. I hope that makes you feel better.
@F-zero91maru The order of the day for modern cars is ugly, flimsy, weak, uninspiring, and boring. No wonder so many automotive car companies went bankrupt.
@F-zero91maru Modern vehicles are just about interchangeable from the outside. No wonder autonomous vehicles are starting to be made. Modern vehicles inspire falling asleep behind the steering wheel. It is almost agony to try to stay awake in one. The boredom nearly overwhelms us and we fight falling asleep.
@F-zero91maru I can not imagine much of anything from the last fifteen years being rebuilt and restored by car people in the future. There is a tiny bit like a Challenger, Mustang, Corvette, Camaro, maybe even a Crown Victoria for the poor folks like us. But the front wheel drive crap will never see anything but a crusher when they get old after a brief stay in a salvage yard. It is no wonder people are holding on to their old cars so much. I even became one. I bought my last vehicle in 1996 new. I was planning on parting with it around 2001. But around then the bottom fell out of the quality, styling, power, performance, and value of vehicles. Today, I still have the vehicle I bought back in 1996. She now has 402,000 miles and climbing.
Car looks good Mike. I bought a few Plymouth parts from you, I believe, years ago, when I was building mine. I sold it. She went all the way to Australia. I miss her once in a while.......
omg i think i just creamed. Beautiful ride. Thanks for the video. if i had the cash it would be mine. My dad had one back in the early 60. I wish he keep it. Words can't say enough
Absolutely gorgeous. The only cars I like as much are the '59 Impala, and the '59 Cadillac. The cars of the late 50's were the most beautiful ever made. They may have been poorly designed for economy and gas, but they were works of art.
These cars are VERY hard to find. I searched for years for one of these, and I've only seen one in real life, and it was a vintage white one at a Classic car show about 25 years ago.
Oh what a beauty! Bad to the bone is cool but your really should get some 50’s rock and roll tunes, especially the ones they used in the movie. That’d be just awesome!

Don Scott You gotta love people and their "keyboard courage" posting mean things. Forget about the jerks. Long live Christine!

omg im the same
and you appearently dont know a darn thing about cars, stick to your Civic and leave the real car guys alone...
Of course its in immaculate shape - that car heals itself. Havent you seen the movie? lol
XDDDDDDD

HERself!)))
@USAKO nope, can’t tell the difference. Heck of a job Arnie. Heck of a job
Well if hes mentioned christine in the title obviously hes watched the movie
Anybody else freak when “Bad to the Bone” played when he started it up?
No
Oh god
@@ralphfurley404 Any DOUCHEBAG that would take the name of a KNOWN homosexual character from a 70's sitcom wouldn't.
Nah it made me so happy inside
Also Arnie never deserved to die
@@chaelodoul9401 what about the guy being gay is the problem?
Thanks so much for having "Bad to The Bone" playing when you started the car, made my day! Gorgeous car, a real machine.
Everytime I see one of these cars that tune starts playing in my head 😂
I know this a most popular vine memes goofy ahh songs 😅
Someone needs to do one of those invisible driver pranks in this
You genius
He should also black out the windows if legal and edit music to sound like a order for food
aheadcop oh yeah
Tj Productions 2 and at night!
Go through a drive thru.
Can't figure out why back then 57 & 58 chevys were more popular than the 58 Plymouths. The 58 Plymouths were beautiful .
Actually, I think a Plymouth was cheaper, but Chevrolet was the ruler of the road so.

Rust issues. Mopars from that time era had huge issues with premature rusting.
Sadly, the remark "on a quite night, you can hear one rust", describes these cars all too well!
My Aunt and Uncle had a car just like Christine. I love the engine.
Christine is one of the best horror classics
Christine brought me here

This car is unbelievably beautiful
When you fired the engine up I was jealous. What a beautiful beast
That Car Is Absolutely Gorgeous
I have to say bro that you've really looked after that car and I'm really impressed by it.
It would be my dream to sit in that car.
You should be really proud of it bro.

Looking at it gi ves me the creeps. My dad had a 57' blue and white Savoy Plymouth. It was an awful ,non reliable car!
She's amazing!
I am obsessed by this car i want it so bad!
"What do you want for her?" "Whatever it is, its not enough."
Loved every minute of your video. Even the song! Actually these Plymouth’s are my favourite US cars from the late 50s even above the 57 Bel Air.
9 years later this video is still the best
when he turned the car on the song was very fitting
@Marsel Jurenec-Music well no shit
no new car will come close to these wonderful old cars, the Fury is one of my favorites, probably because of the movie, congratulations Mr, yours is awesome ❤️
Love it. Christine is one of my fav movies. The only thing I didn't like they destroyed several Furys to make it.

@@indridcold8433 They also used '57 & '58 Belvedere cars. The Belvedere & Fury bodies are identical, just minor trim differences between the two...

NOW THAT CAR IS CLEAN!
i’ve been watching this video off and on for 3 years now
Es una preciosidad de coche. Siempre me encantó.❤️
very nice I love how it is restored to follow the movie exactly. Allot youtube videos claim they have the Christine but this is genuine and beautiful
"Bad To The Bone" by George Thorogood was a nice touch. I personally would have gone with Buddy Holly's "Not Fade Away" though.
Car looks good Mike. I bought a few Plymouth parts from you, I believe, years ago, when I was building mine. I sold it. She went all the way to Australia. I miss her once in a while.......
We have a couple CHRISTENE wanna bees here in Australia and I have to say they are pretty good replicas of the movie
