Great video - thanks for posting, this is very helpful. Gives me an idea of what the fitter will be doing to ours over the next week or so. I don't know why people are complaining about this, thinking it was intended as a tutorial. Great job!
Obviously I discussed the small window with the customer and they decided to leave it as it is, and for the wall unit to go back as it was originally. But all the "constructive" criticisms are welcome.
I slowed the vid to 1/4 speed via settings and it was much more "watchable". Looking for tips to help me DIY my kitchen install and thought this a good start. Haven't told the missus that she will likely be without an oven for a week+ though - wish I could work at this chap's speed :)
Hi, I’m looking for a new kitchen to be installed, I have small partition wall which i would like taken down to open the kitchen up. Bethnal Green area.
I don’t suppose you have any ideas how to open a Burford cutlery draw that is jammed (something inside is only allowing the draw to move only about 1/2 inch open ) - any ideas appreciated
nick.1984 thanks Nick - As luck would have it I got the Draw open about 1/2 and used a piece of garden cane to insert and move about - -after 10 minutes jiggling I cleared the blockage and draw opened - Have now Decluttered the whole draw - radically - great that you replied thank you
I hate my kitchen. An bathroom. I Did place tile on kitchen floor. That made it look decent, but my CABINETS have to be trashed. Use to do cabinet face left to restore existing cabinets. Not happening. Taxes = new cabinets
Question. What is the purpose of cutting off that 1in section on the worktop join? Given its a 90 degree intersection? I ask because I'm about to try and fit a maxtop quartz worktop and haven't done this before. Thanks.
Well, first of all it is because the edge is rounded so you'd have a silly deepening line at the join and secondly because it's not straight it gives more rigidity. You just need a router and router jig.
You must be North American to ask. This is Britain, we rarely have space in our homes for a separate washer/utility room and from the time that most automatic washing machines started to be used here, they were originally placed in the kitchen as it was plumbed into the incoming water source... Driers are still rare as it's yet another appliance we probably haven't got room for and besides, is generally considered a very wasteful, unnecessary energy guzzler . Most people have an outside washing line. Simple: fresh air drying!
I'm planning on fitting a new kitchen shortly & thought I might see something interesting tips here... I didn't... 😔 If u had simply called it a timelapse video which it is , I wouldnt have wasted time on it... I'm not hatin on ya man... its just that I don't see the point. 🙁 I'll have a look at yer archives & if I see a more "normal" paced vid I'll sub... meanwhile I'll give ya a like anyways.. ☺ Good luck with the channel.. 🙄
I've just bought a howdens kitchen and thought who better to show me how to fit it? I couldn't have been more wrong with my thoughts. This is ridiculous how is anyone supposed to follow this, my pause button is now to hot to touch 😡
I suggest reading your instructions that came with cabinets. Before starting take picture of kitchen layout. So you know where the cabinets are going. You should already have holes showing where the stud is. Do not use same hole screw next to it for better fit .
goatsears if it's not meant to be a tutorial then what is the meaning? Howdens claim to be the biggest suppliers of kitchen in the U.K. Surely they could have slowed down the video for their many custom and prospective customers.

Love the gas meter cupboard ...
a pessimist sees negative in everything,
@@classock3264 I said I liked the cupboard …and wished every kitchen fit was so quick which is a joke as I do know it’s a speeded up film.
Any apprenticeships in kitchen fitting round South Manchester area?

If you can open the draw slightly you should be able to access some screws on the side of the draw, undo these and the front should pull off.

How many shelves are inside the wall units? One or two? I couldn't see...

@@godwinemenike9280 200?
To Wren kitchens... this is how it should be - ok?
What’s the purpose of cutting the back of the cabinets like that?

Unfortunately not sorry. I'm up in Manchester

Bad planning around the small window!!!!! Do the legs knock into the base??? That’s how I found this video as fitting a couple of new units
I think most probably mate the customers requested it. It needs bricking up.
A little less quick please.More slow
is it just me or am i missing any info, tips , tricks, thoisngs to bbe aware of, its just a speeded up video. not impressed.

Lord Daniel Hagan how many parts were missing??
Lord DH, the video is only 4 minutes long, it's not meant to be a tutorial, plenty of vids on the tube that will give you a more in depth tutorials.
