    Pretty good work, just some tips from a german furniture maker (this is basically what we build 90% of the time)
    Instead of wood glue, use screws (predrilled holes in the vertical panels) when coupling the 4 sides (at least when two cupboards go beside each other?), stronger and faster joint, the lamello are just for holding it in place.
    The biggest improvement in my opinion you still can make, and weirdly not a lot of people do, even carpenters here:
    8mm melanin particle board for backwall. And then into a rabit, not a slot. Screw this one in. Looks super clean (we use the same for drawer bottoms). Besides that nice to see it catching on, weird to see all the holes and stuff being done manually, we usually do it on a cnc^^

      As a Croatian I believe in German engineering, please could you help me, I'm trying to make a wardrobe and made it in sketchup, only question is what to do to joint top/bottom with left and right panels, rafix 20 or minifix with 1 or 2 dowels? What about cabineo 12, it is expensive but is it worth it? I will do it with 18mm thick plywood...

    nicely done. with the lighting what i do is when the unit is ready then i route the bottom and when installed on wall i put 1 long profile and 1 led strip init. so u dont have to run cables on every cabinet and it looks like 1 light not separate. other than that nice job. i work in my garege too got the same mess as well :)

      @SyemurN 3 роки тому

      I'm wondering the same thing. To put holes into a compressed chipboard panel like that I'm not sure. Plus also all the gaps around the cabinet, doesn't look like a very finished project to me. It's hiding grounds for dust and cockroaches, etc.

    • @aleksanderkac7530

      @@SyemurN You should adress your cockroach/general hygiene problems before starting to build furniture. Plenty of tutorials on youtube ... In Europe we have been making furniture out of particle board for the last 60 years, and continue to do so. It is, arguably, a better way of utilization of a resource (wood), for one.
