Let's do a softer vampy winter-to-spring makeup look | dark nude lips | soft glam & romantic makeup

This is probably one of my favorite makeup looks I've done in a long time. Not only do I love the soft eye makeup look, but THOSE LIPS! I used a lipliner that kinda scares me a little: MAC Bittersweet. It's a gorgeous raisin-brown tone that is matte. SADLY, I just realized that it's no longer sold... I added some subs down below if you're interested. My pencil is a little dry, so I show you how I make it work to create this sort of ombre/defined and muted yet vampy brown lip. I know... vampy is usually reserved for deep reds, blacks, and even purples, buuuuut hear me out: vampy is a dark twist, right? Right? Well, even if you don't think it's vampy per se, you can't deny that it's a fun way to transition from winter into spring makeup. :-)

**SOME RANDOM FUN**
Bittersweet reminds me of rich, dark chocolate. The kind that makes a delightful hot cocoa or a fudgy cake. I was just watching a Samantha March live and she mentioned red velvet cake. OMGOSH. I want chocolate now. I don't normally crave it, but the hankering is a little strong at the moment. I think I'm going to treat myself to an Everything Bundt Cake red velvet Bundtlet today... How about you? What's your favorite way to satiate your chocolate cravings?

Aww, thank you! I'm trying to get back into the routine of being here on YT! ❤️ I totally understand the bold lip. You can try this same technique with a lighter brown color if you're more comfortable with that. Perhaps 3-4 shades darker than your skin tone would be a great step in the bold direction without being too out-there. 😁 if you do try this look, tag me on IG. I'd love to see it! (@emsmakeupry). ❤️

Thank you! I don't always do it in that order, but if there's a specific lip color or lip look I want, I do them first to build the rest of the look off of them. I'm always looking for balance in tones and colors, and I find that if I want a statement lip, that has to be the first thing. 😃
