How awesome would it be if a Dryad formed from a tree, and then the tree over time becomes a Treant. Youd have a very mobile Dryad, and a Treant that might become curious to leaving the forest to look for other beautiful things.

hearing about the Ent´s birth I can already imagine an adventure where the party is invited by elves to a festival awaiting the awakening of an ent! THAT COULD BE SO RAD!!!!!! hobgoblins, bandits or a necromancer could try to disrupt the festival to corrupt the tree or steal a seed or elixir that only appears at that moment....
Would it be feasible to have a dryad choose a tree what then becomes a tree ent and so the dryad follows the tree ent as a scout for incoming dangers? Would like to run something like what happened in golden sun 1 with the sick tree the party had to go inside and heal
