    I went on the PTS and found that in order to have the same build we have on ships now at 19 points, we will need 21 points onj most ships. Onother thing I didn't like at all, is that RPF was taken away for BBs. I don't understand that. DDs and CAs get to keep it. Why not BBs? I know not all BBs take RPF, but a lot of people do. I'm one of them. It is very useful when you need to know where a DD might me. Without it you have no way to tell where a DD might be and where to expect torps from.

      Welcome to World of Inflationships. ;)
      As far as Radio Location, I dunno the thought process there. I've never taken it on any of my battleships and I rarely take the skill on cruisers and destroyers.

      @@SeaRaptor I use RFP on all my ships. On DDs I get concealment first of course. In a battle, on any ship´, information is king. Example: I used RPF on my Thunderer the other day in ranked to hunt down a Gearing that was behind a rock. RFP showed me on what side of the rock he was coming out. Sure enough, he came out on that side and I blapped him. So, for me and other player it is very useful. It should be my choice to use it ir not. I don´t like the fact that WG is taking that choice away from me on my BBs. I don´t see a reason for that.

      @@TheBigGiant_SpaceChiken I can imagine they have taken it away from battleships as it is more a skilled aimed at destroyers and cruisers and i think one of the aims of rework is to make classes more specialised at what they are good at and what they need and honestly i never known anyone take RPF on bbs as you dont really have the capabilities to anything to dds without support (unless your Missouri). Your example shows more the misplay of the dds as coming out from behind and been detected is his misplay rather than RPF telling you which way he was coming out i would say as if he came out and wasn't detected your shot would have missed, you would have just benefited knowing which way he came out.
      Probs also they wanted to add some new skills and they didnt want every skill open to every ship relating back to that specialising of each class.

    Why u keep DD AA turned on?

    • @SeaRaptor
      @SeaRaptor  3 роки тому +1

      I generally do this when the ship's AA radius is the same as its aerial detection radius. There's usually not much advantage to keeping your AA turned off in such a situation because if your AA won't start going off until you're already spotted.

    I got Tachibana (IJNvdestroyer) from the dockyard, what a piece of garbage. One battle in it , Iimmediately sold it. At least give a destroyer that you can do something with, not trash.

      I mean, it's Tier II. In those kinds of games, you're mostly up against bots anyway. =D

      This ship’s AP would supposedly never ricochet, that’s why I’m going for it and just giving it a try

      @@SeaRaptor Thanks for the reply. You're correct, however give people something they can use/have fun with, not trash.. The ship has NO hitting power, accuracy. Thanks again for the response . I am an advid follower of yours, enjoy your reviews.

    Playing a DD with torp range less than your detectability is ugh. What is the point of that? Your usefulness just goes out the window, b/c you have no teeth unless you suicide. I did not like the Acasta at all and was thankful it only took a few games to get to Icarus.

    • @SeaRaptor

      It's one of the unique challenges of the mid-tier USN DDs as well. I mind it less because the guns on Clemson, Nicholas, and Farragut make up for the deficient torpedoes. Acasta doesn't feel that way at all to me. Her guns are blech and her torps are blech. This is a ship you tolerate grinding through, not one you enjoy.
