Driver 2 - The New Pink Car Show - 1: Why replays with the pink car failed

When trying to make something with the Havana pink car from the mission "Hijack the truck" in the version 1.0 (original) of the game, I found that different camera views from the ones used in the gameplay make the pink car appear from different directions.
Driver 2 Version 1.0, played in ePSXe 2.0.5.

Very interesting find.
The reason why it doesn’t work on 1.1 is because traffic switches back to normal as soon as the truck is taken down. But on 1.0 it looks like traffic is stuck spawning around the truck until you get in it. The pursuer car despawns as soon as your far enough from the truck but it’s data is saved to be spawned back but because it’s close enough to you it does spawn back in but uses the wrong data for some reason. Also the blue car in the lockup has a double spawn. Once when you get near the area and again after you’ve triggered the lockup switch and drive in.
