Using the Expressway is relatively fair, but it depends on your purpose of travelling, esp if you are not in a hurry, it hence does not make any sense using the Expressway. or even on Sundays when there is zero traffic, there is no reason to spend the $4.5 from Westlands to Mlolongo..
Exactly. It literally takes 15 minutes or so from Westlands to reach JKIA. I even take it when I am not in a hurry 😂 who wants to sit in traffic for hours. You spend even more than using the expressway with wasted time and fuel. 😊
Dolphine 254, I know you enjoy seeing Nairobi being praised. The man is giving you what you want to hear. Have you been to the UK yourself? Please refrain from comparing Nairobi with countries outside East Africa. If you travel a little, you'll realize that Nairobi is a very remote village town. The only thing that attracts foreigners to Kenya is our amazing weather and affordable cost of living. Apart from that, Nairobi is poorly planned, dirty, disorganized and unsafe. Tembea kidogo!

It's a Toll road. Any Major urban metropolis with immense traffic require Toll roads.
