The problem is, when you stuck in traffic with no exits in sight and no option to pull over, what different does it make if you know your oil is hot? What you gonna do about it? Meh...

Idk, it’s an easy part to put in, looks good and at least lets you know the temp to not ruin your engine. On my bike, I never have issues with oil heat. But it’s nice to know I can see the temp when I want lol

Even my little "city fighter" 155cc Yamaha Smax scooter has water cooling system... So I don't have to go crazy when stuck in traffic. Harley should do something about it, instead of private vendors making money selling useless thermometers to desperate Harley riders.
Yeah Harley has some water cooler bikes. But I bet anything, they turn M8s into water cooled, all the “old heads” with throw a fit. They’re already throwing fits about digital gauges. So I’m sure Harley treads carefully with both markets.
lol, there are electric scooters out there so you don’t even have to worry about water cooler systems either. No doubt Harleys are still being made in a “prehistoric” style but they sell, people still like old school stuff… but going back to the temp gauges, even if I had a water cooled scooter that didn’t come with it, to me it would not only be cool to have one but a must have item. It’s a gearhead thing, not everyone would understand 🤣
