Another nice little mod I did on my clio was a steering column lowering spacer kit, a guy on Facebook josh wheeler sells the kits, not too expensive either and makes a big difference.
Tom you got a link or a Facebook page I can find him on. I didn’t read this comment before commenting myself! I want to drop my column now I have Jf loaded mounts
@@tmusson151186 cheers mate, I found them. Just looking and searching the Cliosport website I think I can do the same thing with some stainless steel standoffs, just need to work out the correct length vs standard bolts or new ones. Thanks for sharing mate
To make it even lower remove the spacers underneath the seats which are just chilling in the chassis they’ll just pop off. Looks a bit better for height wise
@@jwmeale3058 Personally I’ll say they’re small but once you remove them you’ll feel a massive increase in height. The only downside of it is it’s harder to get people in the rear if you remove the spacers due to the rails will be touching the carpet
They are £275 new and delivered mate…ask me how I know! But actually worth every penny. My only criticism with the setup, is I now want to get my steering wheel lower. So need to look in to ways to adapt the column…if that’s even possible
Only driven across town to the MOT but felt great! My steering wheel felt alright. Will have to see once I’ve driven it some more. See the guy below is helping you out with finding spacers 👍🏻
*Ouch!* £275 for 4 bits of mild steel is a bit steep. I defo need some though, as I'm a bit of a lump and stock seats are a bit narrow and just sit too high for me.
Hi - bit late to comment but having watched your video wondered how much further back the seats now go? I’m 6.3 and need as much legroom as possible
2:55 shamone!! hehe
🤣🤣 thought I’d leave it in

Sounds like a hard install?
@@Zillamp3z not too difficult but does require to remove the dashboard for easier access.

Ah okay! Didn’t know that, are they big spacers then? Thanks 🤙🏻

@@boostedchris6120 okay mate, well thanks for the info. Going to drive it abit with these and may pop them out too! 🤣
@@jwmeale3058 Yeah honestly no problem Jordan, yeah see how it is for a wee while and then if you’re not happy just take them out😂
Nice modification. Would you mind telling me where to order the jon foz frames?
Another great honest review! Have you thought about doing the epas mod?
Thank you 🤟🏻 Yes I have as my power steering fluid is leaking (only slight) but seems to be something required in the near future.
@@jwmeale3058 would be great to see a install video
Hola 👋 que bien ver otro contenido del Clio no te pierdas tanto tiempo amigo
Do these fit standard 182 seats or just the recaros? Thanks
This set was made for recaros. I would assume Jon foz who makes them does them for a wide range or Clio seats 👍🏻 contact him on fb!

Russ, space the bolts that mount the column to the inside of the car.
This can be done by using a collection of washers and longer bolts.
@@alexrenault3620 a couple of steps ahead of you mate. Had some standoffs already made awaiting me getting home and fitting

I still need to do this to mine.
Can u tell me the dimension of the spacers plz??
