I lived in Buenos Aires between 2019 and 2021 and again as a digital nomad for six months in 2023. I had the best time of my life, specially in 2023, in that city. It feels so nostalgic now watching this video. I'll probably set my base there in the future because it's one of my favorite cities in the world with New York. I resonated with your comment on the events. I went a lot to Mundo Lingo, a nice language exchange event, however, sometimes the conversations didn't flow or people were going there more for flirting than for making friends or exchanging languages. Still, I have lots of good memories from that city and I want to come back one day.
You are so lucky how easy it is to get documents done today. I've been here a long time. When I applied for temporary residency, it took me 22 months (and many early morning trips to the port!) to get my 24 month residency ... which I then had to immediately apply for an extention. I solved the problem by getting married and permanent residency!
I don’t understand why so many foreigners have such a problem with the Microcentro these days. I’m British and have been visiting for 34 years. To this day I always start off staying downtown and end the trip there too. And I never live in Palermo either. I’m presently living in Belgrano and often live in Olivos. To each their own obviously but the way foreigners shun the Microcentro baffles me.
We always stay in microcentro. Next january 2 months in microcentro. We never had problems, we have a lot subte station, restaurants, things to do, many stores, a large Western Union, many exchange offices. We are not night people and usually we are back home by 10pm
We weren’t shunning Microcentro we were responding to comments that tell us we often spend too much time there, sometimes we just have to go because specific buildings are located there
Wow, those shots in Secret garden, mind blowing! ..you captured the moment ✨ Looks like we are all looking forward to September. Always the best activities and plans are in the spring!
The most beautiful Le blé is right next to the Vicente López train station, there's a very picturesque town center within the radius of the station that I'm sure you'll love, with patisseries and other shops, It's like 15' from Belgrano (Barrio Chino Station) by train.
@@chanelmeyerr and the Vicente Lopez´s one have the Maison Le Ble next door, it's so so beatiful home and another little stuffs store. you have to visit it!
Tbh 10.000 pesos for a letter to the states isnt crazy at all. To give you an example, a small package from Buenos Aires to Chubut costs like 9k-12k pesos (mercado libre purchase)
Warm weather? Just so you know this warm weather is a lie! haha It will get really cold again soon. We are still in winter. In the end of August there will be some days that it may be really warm like 26/27 degrees and then around the 31st Tormenta of Santa Rosa comes along and it will be rainy and cold again. At least until October/Nov we will still get cold weather.
Why dont you guys start with some tango classes would be such a great way to integrate into part of the culture, Milongas are a really fun way to meet locals
I like your videos girl, I'm from Entre Ríos province but live in Rosario 🇦🇷. You said you're from NY but you mean the city itself??, de qué parte de Nueva York?
Why so many Americans comming to live to Buenos Aires? I don't get it. I understand Russians and Ukraines because of war, but Americans, I don't get it.
