Liverpool fan here, completely unbiased but I actually like Amorim, doesn’t seem to BS his way around interviews like Erik Tea Bag did but my god those players are absolutely not good enough.
Some of those players are absolutely shocking. I truly do think it’s going to get even worse before it gets better.

Stevie Wonder could have told us that before the game. It's up to the director of football to speak to the manager about that. We knew 2 years ago it is a weak selection against good midfields yet the message doesn't get passed down. Ten Hag tried to play Fred as a 6 receiving the ball from the defence when he came in. I could have told him it wasn't going to work just from being a fan watching games and he's getting paid millions to make that call. They keep making the same mistakes over and over and are now as far away as they have ever been because the leadership above the team and coaching staff is shocking and has been for years.

Well, yes but what's Amorim supposed to do? Both Bruno and Ugarte had earned themselves suspensions.Eriksen is great to have if we're the one dominating,, he can create like no one else in this squad. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the physique to impact the game much when we're under constant pressure. Regarding Casemiron,, fk me if I know what's going on with him,,, I can't even remember the last game he played even decently.

@nicknewman7848 This whole squad is a problem, not just the midfield. These players got rid off Jose,Ole,Ragnick and Eth. Ruben must have a full summer window with transfers so that he can bring in his own players, and it's ineos problem to get rid of these players. They wanted to get in bed with those scums of Glazers.
Sacking another coach won't help us in any way, Ruben must change players to keep them fit, cause we are sitting with an injury problem as well.

Well done Cara for that Analyisis. I too believe its upon the manager and the system. Personally I am yet to blame players under Amorin. Van Nestrooy got this team playing better football, even under Ten Hag,apart from Spurs and West Ham which were refs mistakes, factor in injuries, we were a better side. That system will never succeed in Premier league. I hope he is not allowed to sign so many players. For sure the next manager will be going back to either 4:3:3 or 4:2:3:1.

He isn't playing a 3-4-3. I'm sick to death of people trying to act like he's some revolutionary tactician. It's a 523. 5 defenders, featuring 3 pointless centre backs offering absolutely nothing both offensively and defensively. Mazraoui is right back, he's hardly even playing wing back because he isn't capable of it. Dalot is the left wing back. Thats 5. It's not a 3!
The midfield is a TWO not a FOUR. If United had 4 midfielders, why do they look outnumbered in every game when they come up against midfield 3. The answer is because it's 2 united midfielders chasing the shadows of 3 opponent midfielders.
The remaining players are the 3 forwards. Diallo basically playing right wing and then Bruno in this ill fitting attacking mid/ sort of left wing-ish role that he simply can't play. The attack is completed by the league's worst striker running about like a headless chicken and scuffing chances when it very ocassionally lands at his feet.
United has a terrible squad but Ruben Interim has made this ten times worse with his formation. It doesn't suit a single player in that team yet he persists with it. Stop surrendering the midfield! You don't need 3 centre backs! Two CBs will do, and use that extra man to match the opposition midfield.
Awful, awful manager. He'll be sacked by February.
