Does Smart Exit work in heavy traffic? Ie. does it only activate when there is no other cars moving past you, or is it bale to determine when it’s safe to pull out on its own?

My GV70 , 2023 has same issue. It doesn't see or find parallel parking spots. Dealerships currently has No solution for it.

We just purchased 2023 gv70. The parallel parking is not working.
Currently the dealership has no idea what is wrong with it.
Before you purchase one of this car make sure test the self parking feature

There's has to be vehicles available on both side of the spot you're trying to park in (parallel and regular parking). You can't use it in an open parking lot.

My GV80 cruised past numerous open parking spots and found none it liked. Too time consuming, rather park it myself.

Agreed with you, pretty much never find the parking spots, even when the spot is obvious, so it's faster to park it yourself. Even the salesman was not able to make it work in the Genesis parking lot! This functionality (finding the spot) needs to be improved, fixed or debugged...
But the remote parking forward | backward, this feature works very well and is extremelly practical.

We just bought 2023 GV70. It doesn't find the open spots to park. I took it dealerships, they said there is an issue but currently they have no solution for it .
Our 2019 Mercedes glc has this feature and it works amazing.

I took our car in two different dealerships and they agree it doesn't find. According to instruction car should be 40inch upto 60 inch away from parked cars.
