Right around the time BLM started when Occupy Wallstreet and Occupy Oakland happened, I made a comment on r/Oakland about the principles of All Lives Matter(ed) and was met with extreme negativity (and downvotes that I didn't much care). I saw it for what it was back then and now, after it ramped back up after the George Floyd riots, I finally understood it as a massive race-baiting grift.
It makes you immune to spreading Covid when you riot!
If you don't you are bad and wrong. So. I invented a new word to describe being anti-BLM.

Actual Justice Warrior. you are absolutely right to be "harsh" in your analysis. A huge problem is lack of harsh criticism of poor behavior among black communities. they are proud when there is accomplishment, and they should be. when there is bad behavior it is ignored or excused away. especially by whites. Politicians, celebrities etc.
We have all screamed this at top of our lungs as media covered up the facts that these dangerous riots hurt low income & minority areas. This was a political movement...not a racial movement.
I remember a girl turn me down because she asked if I support BLM. And when i told her no because BLM does not advocate for black men but rather tearing down society, she immediately left the date and blocked my number. Oh well...

I read a comment a while back, and the person mentioned he asks that very question on a 1st date as it indicates the many red flags that would surely arise in the future.
One of the biggest problems with BLM is that they advocated (on their website) as being against the nuclear family, which is one of the biggest problems of a lot of urban areas. No father figure in the house, so the boys turn to gangs for a "father figure", and the girls just repeat the cycle by being overly promiscuous, and having more fatherless children who turn into future gang members, or perpetual welfare recipients. Also, don't believe the hype when you explain these arguments to a liberal, and they respond "All the black fathers are being unfairly incarcerated". They were incarcerated because they did the crime.

As more of an informed observer and not someone looking for confrontation, I noticed when BLM started making an appearance on the scene with the fallout from the Floyd situation I noticed the lack of anything other than the BLM banner painted on the street. Even folks I worked with were saying they saw through it at the start and they're African American as well. Nothing was getting done aside from soap box lectures about how bad things were and kept the hope for change alive yet collected the hell outta donations while black business owners stores were burnt to the ground. The last eyeroll I had was a news clip where they showed rioters leaving a store and this one lady was super focused on packing this duffle bag with stolen clothes when she stood up and noticed the camera directly in her face. She looked utterly bewildered and shakily chanted "I can't breathe" and this chick literally jogged away dragging that duffle bag behind her. I haven't cringed so hard in my life while at the same time flush with second hand embarrassment over the situation in general. Nobody cared about anything other than looting black, white or Mexican it didn't matter it was a free for all insane meltdown of order. I asked my coworker like, where are the famous activists and public speakers or even like anybody in a prominent position standing up for them? The only one I saw was the lady that stole all the donations she received and bought that mansion for like 4 million. This whole thing is a mess 💀 I pray for change and better treatment and training for officers but wish the looting would stop because it solves nothing and still the gangs are working overtime to kill eachother. It's so sad 😞
Dude wants more resources in his neighborhood - as Jim Rohn said, “You can’t get rich by demand.” The free market will put more resources in areas that are stable and safe for investors & business owners. Complaining about that isn’t going to help or _force_ investors to put money into a dangerous/volatile neighborhood.
They only tell you where their funding goes when they are directly asked by a Vice reporter. You’re not gonna see this on their website 😑
Facts
BLM is the worst thing that has happened to the black community. A bunch of grifters feigned outrage to get rich and move away into multi-million dollar homes, while the families of the “victims” got nothing other than losing a loved one. These grifters didn’t invest a single dollar into their communities either. They just bought homes in new communities, far away from all the problems they claimed they were out to fix.

When you allow crime in your city/neighborhood, you get what you ask for. When you have drug dealers and gang members committing crimes in your neighborhood and you keep quiet about it when police come around to investigate and stop it, then the problem lies with those who decide to keep quiet and reinforces the problem.
I'm pretty sure if the police dedicated most all of their time to solving and preventing violent crime, most all citizens would get along a whole lot better with them.
There are countless examples, but an easy one is "civil forfeiture". "Lehtos law" on youtube has discussed several examples, if you want an attorneys analysis. The top example I can think of is a veteran traveling to buy a big truck with cash, with plenty of evidence to support that was what he was doing. His money was taken and he was NOT charged with a crime - because he wasn't doing anything criminal, he just a good bit of cash on him - he even told the cops about it and gave them permission to search his vehicle (because they're supposed to be the good guys and all). No crazy outrageous stuff done by this guy, none at all, just a good dude answering questions and cooperating fully without invoking his rights; and they took his money. No probable cause required in these "Civil forfeiture" cases, he has to fight and pay to get it back and it still might not work out. After all it " the cash could have been to go buy drugs", nevermind the buttload of evidence that he was going to go buy a particular vehicle ( evidence that he shouldn't have had to produce in the first place)

@@Basteal you sleep through 2014-2015? If yes, there was a dramatic uptick in "fiery but mostly peaceful protests" in Ferguson during that time. The Vice video being examined here was made explicitly to establish how Ferguson has not recovered socially or financially in the intervening years, despite millions being donated to BLM.

The situation in Ferguson was sketchy from the beginning. The vast majority of the people that were arrested were from other states. It was discovered that the rioters were being trained, payed and bused in for the specific purpose of rioting.

I disagree that the people in the vid complaining about BLM, actually give a crap. I think they did not get anything out of the situation ( Money, Fame, Recognition ) and are not happy with that. So they are treating it like a boss that shafted them, plain and simple.
That’s why the families of the criminals killed by cops, turned on them…..they didn’t get the payout they thought they would. A lot of them only became vocal when they found out the founders were buying million dollar properties, & they weren’t getting a piece of the pie.

They do a tremendous job of actual research to back up their claims, and are a refreshing breath of 'investigative journalism'. I subscribe to them, but I'm not connected with them in any other way. I only mention them because you seem like you'd enjoy that.

The Michael Brown case reads like it was written as satire of the BLM movement, and they still use it.
An intelligent, balanced documentary that is not afraid to discover the truth behind an organisation like BLM. People donating to charities like Oxfam were outraged when they found out most of the money never went to the poor people who really needed the money: most went on salaries, offices, etc.
