Eli is literally the only youtuber ive watched all throughout my childhood into adulthood favorite youtuber by far
Im still trying to figure out what happened with his gf
@@dickyboi4956 Well if they are no longer together I think we can infer they broke up or maybe she is the wife
The only one by far? nice.
Same such a genuine guy(never met him) but I’d love too
@@dickyboi4956 dont worry about it. Let Eli be Eli, we don't need to know behind the scenes. Plus he's happily married so it wouldn't make a difference one way or another. And personally, I hate talking about past relationships, so i never ask it of others.
I know you enjoy making the parts yourself, and I totally get that, but if you ever need anything CNC'd I got a plasma table, and will send you whatever you need brother!
@DOITWITHDAN I KNEW I saw you comment on one of Eli’s vids in the past! Dude I love that I’ve been watching both of you guys for YEARS and that you watch him too! Loved when you made that knife video way back when! If you are still into knife making, you should make another video of it!
I think I’d watch anybody’s video with you randomly narrating it. Love your sense of humor.
I would watch his reaction videos for sure.
His editing is also part of the whole package for me. 😂
The power on this crossbow is way more powerful than I expected
It's always a good day when ZNA uploads
Amen to that!
Indubitably
Lol, Not been having too many good days eh?
always the highlight of my day! literally get excited when i see a new thumbnail on my feed, hes the only youtuber i actually look forward to and watch every video!
100% I love to see you do this stuff without automating away the stuff you’re tired of doing. A lot of makers end up there, it’s kind of a natural progression but if your a manual labor purist then the new guys have to get their audience from somewhere anyway.
Forget the hub, Eli is more important
Crazy how I went from watching you when I was a child just hoping that one day I could be that cool to having a full knife making setup with a water cooled 2x72 belt grinder, clausing knee mill, kiln, and gas forge! You truly helped guide the trajectory of my life. Kinda weird to think that some random guy on the internet who will never know me shaped my interest and career choice so much, and I’m sure it’s weird for you to hear that, but I’m forever grateful for your videos!
I grew up making the weapons I would see you make on your channel. You are a big reason I am studying mechanical engineering right now.
You’re one of the few channels on UA-cam that despite the fact that you’re making something really cool I enjoy listening to you speak more.
Seeing that sideways bench vise gave me flashback to our harbor freight adventures.
Glad to see it’s getting good use.
I love how the sense of humour and meme game has stayed consistent over the years of uploading footage.
life is actually better when Eli posts, the positivity of him is immaculate
For real
it would be cool seeing you make some big production type stuff but honestly it's the coziness factor that i think most people appreciate
I appreciate your view on using industrial tools. as someone who does try to replicate your builds its very comforting to not have to worry about weather or not i have a CNC macine.
The clamp cross bow brought back insane memories. I wish I could ask for more frequent vids but whatever you’re doing works. I love you mama
I don't build your builds exactly but I do get inspiration from.your builds. Seeing you doing with regular power tools is a big part of that.
“Soothing to the eye” is a major understatement. Have been watching you since I was in middle school. A little over a decade now. Have not once been disappointed with your videos.
I love your work, both the actual builds and your videos. God bless.
I might not make these exact projects, but I definitely take huge inspiration from you. You are one of the reasons I finally bought a welder, which has substantially changed my life.
Clicked for the crossbow, stayed for Eli. It’s good to see you’re still doing what you love bro ❤
You are such a great guy Eli, thank you. I'm 6 years younger than you and have followed you since, I think it was homemade weapons part 4. I just wanted to thank you for being a big part of my childhood, and inspiering me to make some stuff of my own.
You completely hit the nail on the head with the charm of messing about in your own workshop! Nothing kills the soul quite like fully automated manufacture
edit: plus it's way more fun to watch AND you give the best tips!
I definitely don’t make as much stuff anymore. But your videos inspired me to learn welding. I was okay and sold scrap metal i turned into “art”. Love your videos!!
Hey, your shield tutorial was what I followed to make my own! You inspire people to make stuff that they wouldn't otherwise.
4:10 That vice idea is actually genius! My work shop at the moment is a lot more kitchen than shop, so my power tool usage is limited, but when I have the space to get back into it, this is definitely going to be on my list of work bench essentials!
Sweet trigger, and I'm happy to see the ol menards bench vice come in handy after so many years. I remember the knife making station it was meant for, but its current use is a pretty great idea.
Eli, we certainly do watch you as it is fascinating to see your craftsmanship , as you said, with just power tools... but I'm gonna keep it real. You are a really excellent content creator, editor, and person. I'd be just as interested in your builds, inventions, and creativity no matter what methods you are using to reach your final product. The format is entertaining, the inventive nature of your ideas, and your ability to creative problem solve are inspiring and so nice to watch. Also, the style of your videos narration just hits. You are one of two channels that I have watched consistently basically since I first created a youtube account way back when I was 13 or something, all they way to now, being nearly 30 years old. Godspeed you magnificent soul.
I've been watching you since maybe late elementary school and my goodness gracious your videos never get old. You're a pillar of entertainment
You are right: there are many channels who have access to tools ranging from "expensive" to "you need to be registered with seven governmental agencies to own it", but this one is a "natural continuation of what would happen if my childhood tinkering never stopped" :D
If the trigger happens to be a little sticky, maybe look into lubricated brass washers instead of the steel ones. Can't wait to see how this project turns out!
As someone that has been watching the channel for years. It is a soothing thing. Like I watch it going "yeah, I could do that if the zamboni apocalypse ever broke out.
It's real interesting seeing you finally get some good use out of that little vise. I sometimes just put old videos on to play because the combination of voice, music, and tool noises is in fact calming to my monke brain, and the Harbor Freight not Great video is one of the common replays, I always wondered where that little "knows a lotta tricks" vise went.
electro light's symbolism during that second on the belt sander... eli really knows how to unlock core memories from his channel.
I like your upload schedule. Makes every video special, a treasure to settle down and enjoy.
I almost never comment but man..
You're videos are such a nice change of pace compared to all the other 'follow the trend' channels. Please keep going. I've been watching you for years
I love how crazy different the build quality and video quality have gone up as Eli has gotten better
I literally just finished eating and Im about to get into a food coma, and theres no better way to get into one than watching your videos.... BTW IM NOT CALLING YOUR VIDEO BORING, IT IS VERY SOOTHING AND RELAXING AND FUNNY, I LOVE YOUR VIDS MAN it just is relaxifying and therapeutic and satisfying to watch which I very well appreciate!!! God Bless you and your family Eli!
my day just got better, these videos are the only ones I watch as soon as I come across them.
you say nobody builds the stuff you make on this channel, i now have access to a stable income of money and power tools as well as a class in welding.
soon.
and man, the sanding with the music is class. soothing even. no need to feel like it's bad.
Your editing is always so fun, thank you for the hard work!!
I watched him making this as a child, now I'm almost 20 and he's still making it. Feels surreal realizing this.
I've been watching your channel since the makeshift tomahawk videos years ago and have really enjoyed the way you've improved all the editing and video quality. Thanks for all the fun videos brotha
Just sat down with dinner to see a fresh and crispy ZNA video to go with it. This is the best day of my life
After all this time. Still my favorite channel. Keep being wholesome.
I have built a few things you have made and I really appreciate you doing everything with power tools because it really helped me learn more about how to use them and some good tricks
This summer I scored a bench top belt sander at a yardsale for 35 bucks, it has made my projects sooo much easier!
I'll say it again, really glad I went looking for your content again and glad to have you back in my sub feed. Very neat video. Symbolism will never get old, btw. I'd watch an entire time-lapse of sanding content with that playing in the background.
this is the most consistently enjoyable channel.
Every time a new ZNA video drops, it makes my day
Been watching for well over 10 years abs it never gets old
It feels weird feel like been months since I saw this guys face from the last video!
Love you Eli and your upload schedule, never fails to prevent one from experiencing a bit too much ZNA content and, god forbid, getting bored
Coming from a knife maker, for cutting bar stock I would recommend looking into a horizontal band saw. I used a angle grinder for a long time and the band saw was a life saver! Keep making great content!
this edit is pure GOLD!
First video I saw of yours was a hole in the ground forge and a knife build. That right there started my love of knife making.
I still have one of your first fiberglass Longbow designs you made, that I used your video as a template for, so there's at least one of us that watch your videos and make what you do
Every time I see you upload a new video I get so excited to see what you are up to now. Love you man.
Seeing all this stuff done DIY gives me nostalgic feelings of making science projects with my dad in the garage.
Dude I just recently came back to this channel to rewatch your Disaster bat video from when I was a kid. I AM SO GLAD YOU'RE CONTINUING YOUR WEAPON BUILDING JOURNEY. It's crazy dude...time passes so fast
ZNA looking good. The trigger assembly came out real nice; Love all the tips now too, will come in handy if I ever get Iron Man'd this dude will have saved my life
Thank you eli for continuing your channel from when i was a kid to adult hood
“Soothing to their minds”
No exaggeration, I’ve fallen asleep to a number of your videos. Mostly the build montages with the slow music
Seeing the ZNA UA-cam pop-up notification always bring me joy
i do love that u do everything urself. been watching idk how many years i wish i could check.
Interesting trigger. I can hardly wait to see the crossbow finished.
Love this trigger design, props to you for making it metal! I always love your vids, been watching for YEARS now, even made your pvc bow and gave it to my brother as a gift :D
Love you Eli you’re such an amazing “engineer” I love this it inspires me to do something this complicated thank you. I’d also love to meet you one day respectfully.
I WAS JUST ABOUT TO COMMENT ASKING FOR A MUSIC LIST, then I checked the description, Eli you magnificent adonis you. Love you man! Glad to see you seem happier!
your content is very therapeutic - from the grinds to the memes, had a bunch of good laughs :D well done!
i am SO FREAKING EXCITED for part 3. genuinely still one of the best youtube channels to exist
I just had to say I love the work you do and seeing your video in my notifications brought me real joy
My Brother in Christ thats an ingenious mechanism. I cant wait to see episode 3!
You made a good point about how long you will go before trying to fix a problem. I came to the same conclusion myself and have always tried to fix the little things since then. Tip you can get lost in the little things!
You don’t need big CNC stuff but you could definitely benefit from a manual mill and lathe. It would be so cool to see your learning process on those machines
Hey, thanks to you I work in CNC. Just because people don't copy your builds doesn't mean relaxing footage is all you amount to.
God bless you Elias. What a delight you are.
only youtuber ive watched for years and still love em like day 1, good to see you bud
I said last night, "its been a while since zna has unloaded, so now that ive mentally acknowledged that he'll probably upload tomorrow". Wellas, here we are.
Man, I’ve been checking the channel hoping I just missed the upload ever since the last video, now it’s finally here 😭 love the content man, thank you bro 👑
Aw, HECK YEAH! Been watching for your upload! Glad to finally see more from you. It’s always a good day when you upload
Your production value is skyrocketing i loved the skit you did about getting on your toes!
I do use your techniques and tips for fabrication stuff so it's appreciated to keep it "in garage" tho I sadly have way more ambition than motivation so I do rarely actually make stuff I've been sitting on making armor for like a year now :( sucks to suck. Also it really does just give a nice vibe to the content.
The alien ant farm jump scare at the end got me.
Absolutely love what you post eli. Been here for 7+ years always excited for the next vid
Eli I work in a machine shop and it is nice see the thought process of another crafter
This thing is seriously cool. The trigger bits would be a perfect place to use some spring steel, and harden the sear faces for extra durability.
The return of one of my most favorite UA-camr ❤ zna I really hope your doing the best and you honestly made me happy to be the way I am and I really like your content you honestly help me more then you can imagine and you make amazing vids and I hope you see this and it makes your day just a little bit better glad your back 🎉
at 2:13 you say no one makes the stuff you make let me tell you man I love making the stuff you show on here while I don't recreate everything you do you got me into making spears and bullwhips with your tutorials cause you showed me how to do it real low tech been watching your vids for years always great content and look forward to the next one
Sicko mode dude! I love it when I see new videos from you pop up! Keep up the good work, and God bless!
I dont give a dookie that I have to wake up in 4 hours, a ZNA notification is a ZNA notification😤
I've always loved your content Eli, keep it up my brother in Christ!
Glad to see another video of yours pop up in my feed
i wanna say, you're right. i enjoy the presumption that i could probably do this with the tools in my garage, even though i am not nearly skilled enough to actually do it. you're alot more skilled than i am with your hands.
After all these years you've been doing great
Love your crossbow vids its always a joy to watch them keep up the good work.
I love being able to slam some G-Code into my milling machine at work and make whatever I want (or.. whatever work wants. Same same)
but I also very much enjoy hand-filing my at-home projects. There's a different appeal to it.
Milling machines are for producing rows and rows of bins full of the same thing, but sanders and grinders and files are for hand-fitting that 1-of-1 creation for yourself and nobody else.
2:20 just wanna say your vids inspired me to get into making things. I make knives, choppers, and occasionally swords and machetes and have sold them locally. I don’t do it as much anymore but all the skills and things I’ve picked up over the years translated into me getting into an engineering career and supporting the family I have now. So thanks for using home power tools I guess? Much love bro
Oh hey! That's me! Awesome sauce. They also have all kinds of other tools that other people might have too.
I've been a subscriber since before the pvc zombie spears and I still love watching your channel and love the manual labor purists
Dude it's been so long I always get so excited for these videos
