Crossbow, of course. If the UK also uses 5160 for automotive suspension universally, then it'll be easy to grab a leaf spring, forge it to shape, and spring temper it for the arms. Or go primitive and use some of that famous Yew. Or go prison style and use newspaper and glue. All could fit your aesthetic. :) Great work as always, bro.
Absolutely yes we need a proper crossbow!! We need one that looks like it was just yanked straight out of New Vegas maybe. You guys know that vibe...it looks like it may not work but it's actually a super OP Badass!!😮
Onur, You used your voice thingy, and the explanation was very crisp and clear, the volume was perfect, interesting little build, to bad the arrow didn't penetrate the squash. Thank you for taking time to film, edit and post this video.
Have you thought of using crossbow bolts(arrows), they are shorter than regular arrows. Possibly cut your regular arrows down to more manageable lengths. Love what you make.
@DiesInEveryFilm awesome work!!! was thinking a whisker bisqit could help control the power some, but idk. Well have you ever tried the fishing darts for slingshots? I bet u could design a sweet delivery system for them, I love them
That's a nifty little bow. Clever idea, making the design a hybrid conventional/slingshot bow. If you were to do it again, do you think that an arrow guide of some sort could be helpful? Or would it just get in the way? Also, I enjoyed the narration. It felt a little more instructional. Your humour still came thru, as well! 😆
I think it would help with flight alignment, especially early on. Which seems to be an issue up close. I'd like to see him make something for the slingshot fishing bolts
Haven’t watch in a while. Too much life going on. Love the mini bow sling. Ingenious design. Like seeing you trying new styles of filming. I feel like you welding is more than adequate. Don’t let the haters live rent free in your head. Still love the channel.
Brilliant little bow. Video was epic. Appreciate the humor and excellent use of and explanation for safety equipment. Had me laughing so much I almost choked on my coffee several times. 🤣 Video, narration and editing was wonderful and could tell this would have been a pain to build. All kidding aside, you made my Saturday morning a hell of a lot better. Cheers mate 🍻! All the best to you and the family.
and once again created something cool. It was fun watching you work. very exciting sorry your videos are stimulating and inspiring. You are very delicate in the individual elements you create before the final assembly takes place. always cool
It also helps to use some kind of cutting fluid when drilling through metal. Makes the bits last longer too. You could just spray or pour it on, by that makes a mess, it's better to use a rag or brush with that, it doesn't take very much.
Not only dies in every film, almost dies making every project. Nice sling bow, was that a old leaf spring? You should try sanding 14 feet of timber and epoxy/glass boat, I swear it's torture, they even use a thing called a torture board for sanding in the boat building world. But whats life without a tad of torture
When I graduated from school my teacher gave a speach to all the parents, staff and students. She said that the girls in her class was skilled and clever... the boys however seemed more skilled in making random sounds thn actually speaking... LOL -I guess your teacher said you had skills when it came to facial expressions... LOL P.s. You are the perfect example as to why I don't wear rubber gloves. at 8:15 I laughed out loud when you wiped the epoxy with the ONE finger that wasn't gloved up! :D
Great to know about the 321 blocks. That explains why my 231 blocks are off. Thanks. Edit: I tried to save money by buying the 123 blocks in the past. I don't advise.
Dude, you have way to many toys to play with. Your humor is great. Could be a very useful hunting tool. How is that little feller of yours doing. Stay safe.
We are glimpsing a true artist at work, Improvising like a jazz musician in a smokey bar. Fun Stuff! Seriously, I learned welding at age 50, only messed about with it while living on a small ranch. Watched in awe as the instructor TIG welded bits of a soda can into a dainty mug with a handle... Meanwhile, I can't help noticing the textured gloves make it look like our host is one of the Lizard People...
DAohhhh... the premise is utter brilliance it's just springy metal feels like it would be a good idea but as you know it doesn't have the spring speed of polycarbonate or wood so if you were to remake this with really strong polycarbonate....OMG, lookout
The spring steel wasn’t in use in used that as it had a good curve to it and would be right under tension to oppose the elastic which is harpoon elastic and was way too stiff for this type of style but it’s an experiment for future ideas
Excellent video and nifty little slingbow, it's derringer of Robin Hood's day Your cutaways were funny as always.... What's that? He should've put something else on besides the helmet at the band saw? That's plenty good, it was perfectly safe, he even did the safety squints. What do you mean "safety glasses"? Ahh that's just girl talk Anyway, I loved the video
make a slingshot with a 1:2 pulley system that way the projectile will have more speed and more power, some spear guns have that, there are even kits to install it on a regular spear gun
in case you ever need an idea try a stave that has a retractable spear head and urumi blades and a compartment for a string to also have a shepards sling on one end and a disaster bat end on the other end of the stave that can be used as a club a disaster bat is bat that has a channel in it for a disk shaped projectile to roll in during the swing to gain speed you can do it i know you can
I would love to see you make some arrowheads I mean tanged socketed whatever does not matter to me but I believe you would make the most wicked ones ever
Looks cool, I’ll bet with enough practice it’d be decently effective! Also, anyone ever mention you look like Manu Bennett (Deathstroke from the Arrow series)?
Hey diesineveryfilm I love your channel and I love your content and i was wondering can you tell me what were the items you used for the military style iron fist because I want to make one like it do if you could please tell me❤
I think you need a different spine of arrow. Curious, what was poundage at 28", and what is your draw length? Im ino archery. This makes me very curious. If a person can shoot arrows out of sligshots, why not this? If seen compound bows as short as 18".
Here’s the video of how i used my experimental concept for better use Arm Mounted Experimental Dart Launcher
ua-cam.com/video/YjA5S8uwI_o/v-deo.html
Hands down, still the best channel EVER to appear on UA-cam. More narrated videos please Onur, loved this one, the sling bow looked awesome.
Completely agree, more narration 👌🏻👌🏻
Wicked im glad you like it and from now on all of them will have narration in them as it seems popular
good channel but gotta give this one to Joerg Sprave
This was fun but im gearing up for something bigger, Crossbow anyone?
And did you enjoy the Narration style?
skip crossbow, go to scorpion/ballista
Crossbow, of course. If the UK also uses 5160 for automotive suspension universally, then it'll be easy to grab a leaf spring, forge it to shape, and spring temper it for the arms. I did enjoy the tutorial style of video
Absolutely yes we need a proper crossbow!! We need one that looks like it was just yanked straight out of New Vegas maybe. You guys know that vibe...it looks like it may not work but it's actually a super OP Badass!!😮
I enjoyed the narration
The shot to the nuts was hilarious. Thanks
Thank you
If all of what my hubby watches on UA-cam was like your fun informative video, I would watch them all! Keep up the good work!
Thank you! Will do!
If Bob Ross was a weapon artist in The Road Warrior...
We'll just put this little bolt over hear and let it live by the happy little blade..... 😂😂😂
Hahahahaha amazing

Really, really enjoyed hearing your commentary and explanations throughout the video. I think that made this my fave vid of yours so far
Wicked ill be doing more in this format for sure
Love the way he explains safety precautions and then ignores them. Do as I say, not as I do.
Onur,
You used your voice thingy, and the explanation was very crisp and clear, the volume was perfect, interesting little build, to bad the arrow didn't penetrate the squash. Thank you for taking time to film, edit and post this video.
Nice one, I did like the commentary going through this build.
Brilliant, cheers
Having worked as a welder/brazer your personality takes me right back to being in a workshop hahah
Have you thought of using crossbow bolts(arrows), they are shorter than regular arrows. Possibly cut your regular arrows down to more manageable lengths. Love what you make.
Thank you, the length wasn’t an issue it was the elastic which was overpowered but it’s a prototype for a future build I explained in a pinned comment
@DiesInEveryFilm awesome work!!! was thinking a whisker bisqit could help control the power some, but idk.
Well have you ever tried the fishing darts for slingshots? I bet u could design a sweet delivery system for them, I love them
That ending made me think you should add a blade or spikes to your ranged projects so you can whack stuff in the end as well
Thanks for watching
Loved it. So over engineered. Genius.
🟥 Excellent as always. It looks like you got some new tools and equipment...Congrats. Keep yer pimp hand strong 🤪🔨
Wait till you see what I’ve just got
@@DiesInEveryFilm 🟥 Dang...Can't wait!
Dude just saw you in my recommendations. Humor and weapon builds. Subbed 🤘😜

You beat me to the arrow guide, I was going to mention that
I think it would help with flight alignment, especially early on. Which seems to be an issue up close. I'd like to see him make something for the slingshot fishing bolts
Last frame tells it all!
Cool build. Fun watch. Crap bow😂
I would be proud to use such a fine weapon in a post apocalypse rebellion scenario. Great Job.
I love that he talks us through it. Funny too!
More to come
I like this new style video where you explain what your doing. I also like the sling bow.
Perfect I enjoy filming them
Haven’t watch in a while. Too much life going on. Love the mini bow sling. Ingenious design. Like seeing you trying new styles of filming. I feel like you welding is more than adequate. Don’t let the haters live rent free in your head. Still love the channel.

I though the thumbnail was a pair of glasses 😂 then when I realized what it was, I thought how sick a pair of convertable sling glasses would be
It could be converted im sure
It also helps to use some kind of cutting fluid when drilling through metal. Makes the bits last longer too. You could just spray or pour it on, by that makes a mess, it's better to use a rag or brush with that, it doesn't take very much.
Cheers for that. Awesome work. Subbed 🤘🏻
Thanks for the sub! New video out today
Nice design easy to carry out in a backpack
Nice compact weapon! Well done!👍🏼⚙️

Well that would be a double bonus, thank you new video up this Saturday
Subbed after 1 minute. Awsome!
Excellent video and nifty little slingbow, it's derringer of Robin Hood's day
Your cutaways were funny as always....
What's that?
He should've put something else on besides the helmet at the band saw?
That's plenty good, it was perfectly safe, he even did the safety squints.
What do you mean "safety glasses"?
Ahh that's just girl talk
Anyway, I loved the video
great build! amazing vid!
Dude I am surprised you didn't make your own arrows or bolts
Please make a bunch of these and sell them.
I make custom one offs as I have lots of video ideas so they either start a prototype for something bigger or go on my website
make a slingshot with a 1:2 pulley system that way the projectile will have more speed and more power, some spear guns have that, there are even kits to install it on a regular spear gun

Use same concept for a pistol crossbow that would be awesome
Wonderfully entertaining ❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
That is one posh slingshot, bloody dangerous to everything but melllons
Cheers man, it was fun
Ahaha !!! better and better !!!
And then, with the explanations, velour.
Thanks! 😃 more of this to come

Good project and funny content
Are you going to send this to the slingshot channel?
Too much fun there
A hit in the nuts is always funny
Entering for me as well
Bro, this dude is so funny! And he make cool sheeit lol
it ain't got enough power but I'll give it a like it may be would have been better to use a tractor spring from a hay rake?
Hey diesineveryfilm I love your channel and I love your content and i was wondering can you tell me what were the items you used for the military style iron fist because I want to make one like it do if you could please tell me❤
Miss, glance. F*ck that melon.
And it's an instant multi tool 😅 Brilliant work as always Onur. It's made my night shift brighter, so cheers mate👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it! I had fun making it
What fps are you filming at? Id love to know how fast those arrows are going
Nice 👍👍👍
Great for a prototype....but if you could do it again what would you do to make it better? *ahem*pt.2*ahem*😊
Bro very nice work pls use safety glasses next time good luck
