- Ah yes, at last we have a whole swathe of new Dragon Prince content.... comic con has been a gold mine of reveals, and set up for the next season of the show, and the next big arc in The Mystery of Aaravos.... this season is looking to be the best one yet... and I am hyped. Let's go!
I just hope that Callum and Rayla haven't found anyone new to date. Seriously, I'm pretty sure all of us were happy when they got together in season 3.

It will be something like this: Rayla returns to be with Callum but arrives precisely at the moment when Callum hugs some random female cousin or something. Then she sets of, feeling stupid for thinking he might still be waiting for her, and in her sadness finds a guy. Nothing serious, just to even the "score". Then Callum learns that Rayla was seen in the city and rushes off to meet her only to find her with that random guy and feel stupid for thinking she came back for him. There will be a big tension between the two until the end of the season where this misunderstanding will be revealed.
Seriously, I have no idea, but I have seen enough young adult series to have a pretty good guess how the writers usually think. Let time prove me wrong.

In fantastic beasts Thesus and Leta we're engaged but Leta died.
I have some predictions:
- callum will tell aavaros that his girlfriend is on a mission to kill viren ( callum is a bit heartbroken and aavaros will us this )
- rayla will attack team claudia on a full moon and i dont think she will win
- aavaros prevents raylas death (to manipulate callum and rayla needs a plausible way to survive)
- terry is the comedic relief character for team claudia and replaces soren (claudia needs a comedic partner for her jokes. aavaros and viren are too serious)
- janai and amayas plot is to rebuild the sunfire elves and will have to deal with sol regem
- ezran and soren are involved with the human side( i expect another pentarchy meeting)
- Viren has the choice to sacrifice himself (aavaros/claudia or the world)
Also, Callum and Rayla shouldn't end up together. Their relationship is too unstable since Rayla father figure killed Callum stepfather. How is that relationship supposed to work out?
Where do you think the book title "Wind" will come into play?

@@shivangparikh2933 because the moral of the story is overcoming generational trauma and biases and creating a new world. It makes complete narrative sense to have the main couple be the embodiment of the message the story is teaching

I really like Callum's new hairstyle, it makes him look pretty cute and also like he's aged a bit.
Like I like his old hairstyle, it was good, but it definitely made him look like a kid. Which at the time was fine since he was only like 14.
But now since there's a time skip and he's older, it makes sense to give him a hairstyle that makes him look older and more mature because that's what he is.

Agreed it definitely shows that he's grown a bit and I guess I might take little getting use to for some fans, but I honestly think it looks nice

At first I wasn't a huge fan of Callum's new hair. I agree it does look kind of out of character and it makes him look like an anime character. But it's slowly growing on me and I'm sure that when season 4 comes out and we see it more often I'll come to like it. Also Terry being Claudia's boyfriend was the most unexpected yet most hilarious plot twist ever 😂

I like Callum's new hairstyle. Kinda reminds me of Ibis's. Maybe that's where he got it from? Maybe he studied under him learning more about sky magic and Xadia and stuff.
Learning that it had been two years since Viren fell off that cliff does explain why it was the crow master's boot in that cave: it implies they are in Katolis and close to the royal castle.
Claudia's new boyfriend might give her and Viren some empathy for magical creatures. I'm curious if her elfin boyfriend will try to get her away from dark magic. If so, how will it go.
I'm concerned about Calumn studying Aaravos's mirror because it makes me wonder if he, Soren, and Zubaya have been comparing notes the way they need to.

As excited as I am for the new season, the lingering question that I have is what's going to happen with that cube that reacts to magical energy? Throughout the series we kept seeing pop up here and there a few times but it never got a explanation or any type of hint of what it could be used for. Honestly I think it is a key that can only be unlocked when all magical forces are used at the same time around it including dark magic
this ! on top of that when the cube was first found in the winter lodge it was in a box full of keys which means that this is also a key
I think Arovous is trapped in the cube itself like a kind of cube world he did say it's "well appointed"
@@live4life551 as weird as it sounds I think because of how it works one of his own had to betray him or someone with a understanding of dark magic to be able to link that particular arcana for it to register. However I also would not be surprised being trapped in the box was more of something of his own making, kind of hiding away and binding his time knowing full well that he could probably trick and come back because the information about him would either be lost or be hidden away
well the cube is named "aravos's key" , but the interesting part is that the book of callum it states that, when the cube is rolled on the ground it always makes an arrow mark that regardless how it´s rolled that arrow always points in the same direction.

One thing I wonder about where the Viren's reanimation take place, we all assumed originally that it was where he died or close to it since it seemed like it was right after the battle, but with the time skip things a little less sure. His body and the body's of the rest of the fallen could have been taken back to Katolis to be placed in a crypt or tomb. Now Claudia's spell to reanimate her father would certainly not be acceptable, so she would have to take the body in a more discrete location.
The two years thing means our original theory of her taking the life force of an already living soldier may not be accurate. We don’t know what she needed but it seemed like it took a while to find
@@shivangparikh2933 actually I think the way their relationship is represented was very healthy. They actually overcome this obstacle before getting together. Callum talks about how he hates the dragon king for killing his mother, and rayla is understanding. They have great communication
@@shivangparikh2933 the avatar writers have proven they can write stable relationships. If they do break up or one of them dies, it won’t feel cheap. Honestly, it’s so new we don’t know much about their characters and how they’ll change long term. They had much less time together than rayla and callum, so their dynamic is less defined.

I don't have a problem with how long it takes. So long as we get assurance that the series will continue, to me, the longer wait just means they are making sure that it is top quality.
I love Callum's new look because it shows he has grown a little after Season 3. I mean he can still be funny and goofy but a new look really shows how someone has changed and has grown over the years. And even if Claudia has someone who likes her and he becomes her boyfriend. Callum and Rayla will always be my favorite ship on the show. They was the reason why I started watching the show to begin with. Because I saw videos of Callum and Rayla getting closer and I saw they started dating so that made me love the show even more. And since Rayla decided to leave to go find Viren after the battle in the last episode of Season 3. I think it's only fair that they show a flashback of Rayla leaving in one of the episodes of season 4. Because this video just said that Rayla leaving the team to go find viren was off screen and it was in a graphic novel. So I think we should see her telling the team her plan and when she plans to return. But anyway if we do see Soren in Season 4 or in other future seasons and nothing bad happens to him like if he doesn't get killed or anything I think that Soren deserves a love interest. Because now he knows what's right and what's wrong I think he deserves to have someone that will stick by him and that he can protect. Because him and Claudia has always had each other's backs. But she decided to protect her father instead of her brother in battle. So I think Soren should have someone to protect and someone that can be there for him because his sister won't clearly be there for him anymore.

i get the feeling that Callum's new hair could be a signaling device. new hair=formal, old hair=informal. like he has to put on his social armor to interact with important people as the new high mage but he when he is free to be himself he could let his hair fall back into it's old more natural style. image is everything in political games and with him being so young, even with as many accomplishments as he has, it could be hard to get some of the key players on the political stage to take him seriously. his new hairstyle could be symbolic for the tools he must use for the political games that any court has hidden under the surface.
I wonder how Terry and Claudia got together. Like, he knows she's a Dark Mage etc? Like, the last person who would be at least friend with an Elf?

I'm curious as to what Claudia had to do to resurrect her dad. While restoring Soren's limbs she already had to kill a baby deer. what did she do to resurrect her father?
Callum's new hairstyle is good to me. it's more styled showing he has grown up past being the kid who didnt see his own worth (doesnt take time to style himself cause he doesnt think anyone cares) into a young man who has confidence and purpose (Takes pride in his appearance having been in a realtionship and has a role within the kingdom)
There is also three short stories on the official website I didn't read it but I read there summaries on the wiki
The first one is of Callum's first time going to viran's room after being given his role as high mage and there is signs of PTSD from harrow's assassination and grief from the situation with raylan and ends with him finding the mirror
The second one is janai and her younger brother kirim and I know I butchered the name meaning there sister's death
The final one is the vaguest one from what I read but it is narrated by aravose and is about the pain of humans and how they prayed to the stars and how they laugh at there pain due to there arrogance and in the end humans got the gift of patience
I recommend read them cuz with what I read they are GOOD

Either way they must die a heroic sacrifice way though I trust the writers and creators more seeing ATLA and the master piece it is
Something I hope we find out is that after these two years Callum has been helping some humans learn how to connect to a Primal Source.
In terms of whether Aaravos will keep his word about Viren, I think it could go either way. He says he doesn't lie --- and we haven't known him to do so yet. So I'm inclined to think he may well come through on his promise to fully resurrect Viren. That said, will there be some other catch? Will he screw Viren over in some other major way? I'm looking forward to finding out.
Let's be honest here it's not like he has any competition. I'm assuming that since it's still technically a human Kingdom they're going to want a human for their high mage, but since they're now on good terms with the elves and dragons they probably aren't going to want another dark mage. Kind of leaves Callum as literally the only candidate. Even without the obvious nepotism

I think the Terry part can be very intersting as a character if done right. What I think is that he is in a very akward position after centuries of hate between humans and elf in great part because of dark magic he is the boyfriend of one of the humans that uses the most dark Maggic that is Claudia?
I think he is either not as inocent as he seems at first maybe even helping Claudia sacrificing who knows how many people to bring Viren back to life. Or Claudia lie to him which could end horribly for him when he finds out the truth.
After watching the sneak peeks, I'm starting to remember why I like the show so much. The humor is pretty funny, the characters are perfectly socially awkward, and there's that underlying dark side with what happens. For example, Callum trying to figure out the mirror. Based on the poster that shows Aaravos puppeteering everyone, I've got a feeling that Callum might fall down a different path, revisiting the dark magic he left behind.

How the heck did this go from 'hey I remember that this was cool' to speculation?

Adding on to the topic of Callum unlocking the secrets of Viren through the mirror, I have a theory/thought
I agree with Callum doing this to find out more about Viren, since his very kept in secret. But I feel like there's more to it.
This being through finding out Virens secrets not being the only reason. But another reason being Rayla.
By him growing interest in Viren by Rayla leaving because of Viren. With maybe him thinking. (If I find out about Viren and stop his, Rayla will return, and we will be happy again). Or the mindset of, if I do this, this will happen.
Granted Callum would still need interesting in Rayla and has not moved on (2 year time skip). Which based on the clip we where given, it's hard to tell.
But what we can tell is how, one grown up Callum is and based on his voice (deeper) and stand is in , is way more reserved, yet still has his joke side to him. Overall can't wait for season 4, I sure it will be amazing.
Last note: in regards to the Mirror, Callum seem very secretive(like viren) of it. By him covering it with cloth once the guard comes and him in ways seeming to go back to his joke side (compared to him alone with the mirror, his seem more serious and focused on it).Leading you the question if Ezran or anyone else knows his obsession/interest in it.

After a two year time skip, Callum is going to be absolutely busted. I can’t wait to see what he can do. Also are those sleeves detachable for when he uses his wings? Love the costume either way.

1. Aaravos is more like Annatar (Sauron) rather than Lucifer.
2. Annatar (Sauron) was titled the giver of gifts.
3. Aaravos was titled the bearer of gifts.
4. Aaravos will have a dark form similar to Sauron's armored dark form.
5. Aaravos will gather his ancient elf followers and create a dark army
6. The dark army might be made up of shadowy undead elves and humans
7. Both Aaravos and Sauron want to be worshipped as god kings.
8. Eye of Aaravos = Aaravos sees everything on Xadia from the stars in space.
Manipulating Terry Theory
1. Terry will be sacrificed for a dark ritual without Claudia knowing
2. Viren and Aaravos will use Terry to infiltrate the Earthblood Elves' society
3. The Eartblood Elves, Tidebound Elves, and Startouch Elves are isolated elves
4. Those three elf races are oblivious to the events of Books 1-3

5. Some Dark Mages will abandon Dark Magic to learn the Arcanum from Callum

1. Aaravos has some care about humanity but he wants to be a god-king
2. Aaravos will work to invade the domain of the Startouch Elves
3. Aaravos wants to manipulate the cosmic energies to remove the elves' bond to their respective arcanum. Thus, allowing Aaravos to be the only one to wield the Arcanum.
Characters' Future Series Finale Theory
1. Callum will travel and live in Xadia to learn more about Primal Magic
2. Rayla will continue being the Dragon Guard and Azymondias' protector
3. Azymondias will become the new Dragon King and bring reforms
4. Ezran will continue ruling Katolis as a wise and more mature king
5. Claudia will become Katolis' new Archmage and connect with a Primal Source
6. Soren will continue being the Lord Commander of the Crowns Guard
7. Viren will be buried after his death in Season 5
8. Aaravos will either be incarcerated, killed, or reformed in some way

I kind of felt sorry for Viren looking at how he came back and was willing to switch with the king himself, but was rejected outright without being listened to. That's deff one of the things that set him destray. I doubt someone like Viren could have a redemption arc but in some way I feel for him. Although yeah, screw him xD.

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with this show. It's definitely got the Avatar vibes that I miss from that show, but some of the things they do in this show are about as stupid as Aang not killing Ozai, or Katara sticking her nose into the Agni-Kai at the last moment and getting Zuko shot full of lightning because of her stupidity. Except there are more of them.
Like, the bit with the deaf/mute general. It's a medieval fantasy world. No deaf/mute child is going to get that far in life, IF they survive at all.
Or the two queens. Which one had the kid? Who knocked up that queen? In a conventional relationship, it might not matter even in that era, but in their position, bloodlines matter. Yeah, there were gay kings and such, but they still married and bred for the sake of the throne. And if they didn't, they died.
Or the three-legged dog with the illusion leg. If it's strictly an illusion and has no physicality...then the dog can't run on it. If you've ever seen a three-legged quadruped walk or run...it's pretty obvious. Even with the phantom leg, it would still walk like a three-legged dog. There would still be a significant problem in its ability to move. There is, after all, a reason you don't see them survive in the wild. There's no such thing as "differently abled". If the illusion were substantive, and could be used as a leg, it would be different. But, then it wouldn't be an illusion anymore.

Callum's new hair is a bit jarring, but it seems like something I will just get used to after a while. It had been a while since I watched an episode, but I still found it odd. Still I don't think it is that big of a deal.

Honestly I agree that they shouldn't have important connonplot lines for the main story like Rayla leaving the group in a tie in comic not every fan may know about and get or read. Present your story and all important information IN THE DAMN SHOW.
I feel like they'll probably reference it or do flashbacks in the show so that people don't need to read the book to understand what's up. While it would have been nice to get what was in the comic in the show, they do only have short seasons, so my guess is they have to pick and choose what to prioritize. It seems like that's why season 3 felt so rushed at times --- they wanted to wrap up the arc but didn't really have the space to do it.

I think Erebus is going to use Veron as a vessel! Maybe Erebus cannot leave his prison, but maybe he can transfer his subconscious into another body.? Why else would he really care about bringing Wieren back unless Erebus is simply trying to keep Claudia on his side to help him escape.?

I have a theory based on terry and Claudia. I think terry is the key to redeeming Claudia.
We all know viren, right? He’s the most racist person I’ve ever seen inside of a cartoon, and he, probably, hates that claudia, his daughter, is dating an elf, his enemy. So, I think that viren will try to manipulate terry into abandoning Claudia. Just imagine your viren in this situation; your daughter just brought you back to life after trying to help him win a giant war against the people who she saw as her friends. You feel grateful for what she did. You see her as your most loyal and trustworthy companion. But, next thing you know, you find out she’s dating the very thing she tried to help you destroy. You feel betrayed and hurt at this.
I think viren is going through this. I think he’s gonna make terry think that Claudia doesn’t love him anymore because he’s an elf. But, eventually, Claudia’s gonna find out about this and leave viren for good.
Now, this is just my theory, but, what do you all think of this theory.

I sincerely think this show needs to up the stakes, both personal and global. I also think they need to introduce a more threatening villain. Aaravos is interesting, but he's far from intimidating. He's fun, but he's never going to make me as uncomfortable as Homelander does every time I see his face. I'm not shitting myself whenever Aaravos on screen like the show seems to want me to. I've never felt like the world or characters were actually in serious peril, and despite always being intrigued by where the show was headed, I never truly became invested. There's intrigue, but no real suspense. Maybe season 4 will change that.
His hair style looks like he is matured and more confident, before he looked very dorky and wasn't confident.
Especially if he is now an established powerful mage, you must be very confident. Of course he is still a bit goofy, cus he ain't high and mighty despite being the High Mage, it's awkward for him that people act so formal to him.

i think if callum sees caluda with terry i think that he might get a slight bit of jealousy for 2 reasons you might know but also be surprised that caluda found love with an elf
I think Viren is going to have a redemption arc this season. Seen enough shows with that type of character to have this suspicion.
