We never waited for someone to take care of us. Now she went and got into the medical field and doing better for herself and now realizes she wasted 25 years waiting for the somebody that owed her. Life is hard, but it is what you make it. You'll feel a lot better working your butt off and helping people that really needs help and not looking for hand out's, then hurting people and thinking the world owes you! Like I said previously I grew up as a white minority in Detroit, I've also served in the US military - so I've absolutely seen my fair share and dealt with my fair share of bad people. But they almost always seem to be influenced to to bad things in reaction to something else. I don't think anyone just falls out of their mother being evil. Somewhere along the line these evil people ran into a complex situation where they didn't feel like they would have a positive outcome if they didn't break the law. I don't think anyone wakes up, yawns and then randomly robs a liquor store. But if you're poor and there's no jobs, or a million other reasons which makes it unlikely to get food right away - that's what causes bad behavior in my opinion. You can come up with a million and one ways that the person can positively change their life in the *future,* but you need that food now or else there won't even be a future. So it's much more complex than just bad or good, that's binary.

Throughout my entire childhood I don't think I saw one thing that was inherently racist, one way or the other. I was the minority and never felt like any black folks treated me differently. I'm not sure if it's just Detroit that's like that or what. But look at Eminem, same exact thing same exact city.

Like I said previously I grew up as a white minority in Detroit, I've also served in the US military - so I've absolutely seen my fair share and dealt with my fair share of bad people. But they almost always seem to be influenced to to bad things in reaction to something else.
I don't think anyone just falls out of their mother being evil. Somewhere along the line these evil people ran into a complex situation where they didn't feel like they would have a positive outcome if they didn't break the law. I don't think anyone wakes up, yawns and then randomly robs a liquor store. But if you're poor and there's no jobs, or a million other reasons which makes it unlikely to get food right away - that's what causes bad behavior in my opinion.
You can come up with a million and one ways that the person can positively change their life in the *future,* but you need that food now or else there won't even be a future. So it's much more complex than just bad or good, that's binary.
