So, he wrote this entire album in prison. Whisper singing so he wouldn't get in trouble and working out the beats drumming his hands on his knees. This song in particular, while looking into a mirror. It's his self-sabotaging relationship with himself that he knew was killing him, but you can't get away from yourself. It's a beautiful, haunting song anyway (lyrically, despite the high energy boppy sound of the original) but that knowledge just puts it on a totally different plane as far as genius talent goes.

Yup. Ronnie said it wasn't about a girl at all, but battles with himself which Sev has mentioned before.
Luke Holland has been such an awesome addition to FIR! He and Ronnie seem to have a great relationship…. I hope he stays because he is phenomenal!
You ready never know what's coming from each song. They're all so different. Just when you think you have them figured out, as far as their "sound", you're totally surprised. The other remake is phenomenal. The video itself won some awards.

He wrote this in prison playing “drums” on his legs/table etc and doing it over and over daily. The drummer is Luke Holland, he’s been a touring drummer since 2021 with FIR 🖤
Every metal head I've seen react to this has been moved with emotion and in awe. I've seen several get tears lol it's cool to see the evolution 🖤
I found Ronnie when he was with Escape the Fate and loved him then but the progression and vision and style now just blows my mind! I think he’s one of the best artists doing music now! Can’t wait for the trilogy!
I found FIR with Popular Monster and, like you, immediately became obsessed and couldn't get enough. When I worked my way back through their discography and got to the songs from this era I was like, "It's not bad at all but I prefer where they are now." Imagine my surprise when I started to listen to these more and more as they came up (I have Pandora set to artist only for FIR) and they got better and better. Now I'm just as likely to be singing these older songs as the new stuff throughout my day.

It looked like you didn't realize that the Lyrics for both songs were EXACTLY the same. How he presented them was the difference. Life happened to this man in the fast lane. I could also tell that you didn't notice that the piano shredding was the GUITAR solo being preserved in the reimagining of the song.

The solo is a bit different he had another piano guy write this solo it's about as close as possible to be played on keys but
Ronnie did the reimagined version for the fans for the 10 year anniversary of the song and album.
The end bit is just like punctuation. Like poetic justice♥️

If you get a chance go see them live! I just saw them 2/6/24 Huntington Center Toledo Ohio and put up there full concert 🎶 set! They killed it, Ronnie is a incredible frontman and vocalist, can’t wait to see them again already🤟🎶🥰
I actually love the weird nostalgia vibe they give me even though I had moved on to harder music after high school and I never got into FIR, going through their older stuff makes me feel like I was still there somehow... haha!

I was listening to FIR roughly around the time this album came out.
Honestly, I didn't listen to Escape the Fate when he was a member, but I started listening to them recently.

Actually this isn’t a love story at all. This song is about himself. He’s his own drug and biggest enemy. No one can hurt u as much as u hurt yourself. The girl is an easter egg for fans. She’s on the original album cover.

It’s reactors like you that keep my love for FIR alive! Seeing how much you fell in love with them form the very first sone reminded me of my first time hearing them. It wasn’t until I watched the video for Zombified that I started down the rabbit hole (4-5 months now?). And it’s still the only thing I listen to in the car and watch reaction videos to.
Definitely do the trilogy (Losing my mind, Losing my life and Drugs), I’m not a vampire and the revamped version. Also, check out Coming Home. All amazing videos, story, sound, etc. enjoy!
Ronnie had absolutely put a lot of hard work into perfecting his art. I started out watching only HIS own reaction videos to other people reacting to his music. I thought that was really cool! He absolutely loves his fans and mentions how he wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for their support. You can see how his perspective on life has changed.
Part of why I loved your reaction is because I’m always looking for that brand spanking new to FIR reactor, kind of like you with discovering them. I watched all your reactions back to back because it was so fun to see you get to hear it for the first time!

The band is completely different, except for Ronnie. Jacky Vincent (the guitar solo) left for solo pursuits. The drummer, Ryan Seaman, and this bass player , Mika Horiuchi, were released. Derek Jones, the rhythm guitarist died in 2020. He was the last original member besides Ronnie and I have no doubt he would still be there, were he alive. The current lineup includes (as you have read below) Luke Holland on drums, Max Georgiev and Christian Thompson on guitar, and Tyler Burgess on bass guitar. Since Ronnie can't do his own backing vocals live, Tyler is excellent (he could be a lead singer) and backs Ronnie up along with Christian and Max. We are going to see them tomorrow.

Popular monster was my first time hearing Falling in Reverse. This song was second. Ronnie looked so different in the thumbnail I thought I had the wrong video 😂 I love this one and the reimagined version. The reimagined is the better song I suppose but the original is just fun 😊
The guitar solo from the original and the piano solo from reimagined are the same.
Okay had to comment. He's definitely not a womanizer. He simply was playing into the fact that A LOT of us women found him attractive and still do lmao. Ronnie reminds me of Freddy Mercury and no he can do everything. We just say ok Ronnie we get it you can music. One last thing lol the song was about a toxic relationship that you just keep running back to. I'm ready for more!
