So now you have to go check out "The drug in me is you" from 2011 then "The drug in me reimagined" which he did ~10 years later, same exact lyrics but different feel/composition. If you like that one then move on to "I'm not a Vampire" from 2011 and "I'm not a vampire (revamped)". Same thing same lyrics but different feel/composition.
The 3 songs are his circle of addiction story. Losing my mind was about his addiction and him ending up in jail. Losing my life is about his realization of dying and his daughter growing up without him. And he doesn't get to watch her grow up to become a woman and DRUGS brings his journey full circle by knowing it started with his mother and now him. But he's breaking the cycle to be there for his daughter. But also he realizes that she inherited the addictive trait too
Also now you see he references the year 2033 alot. It was on the plane in Watch the world burn too

I feel like I am just waking up ..... Falling in Reverse is the full package. We don't need anyone else. They'll give you everything you want in one song. The drummer and that double bass is sick and Ronnie is second to none... The vulnerability in all of his lyrics makes the music real and that much more relatable.
Just for more info, The Woman in Losing my mind represents the drugs he became addicted to He was incarcerated in Nevada Max Security prison for 2 yrs He got clean but still battles with depression Medical anxiety (fear of dying) and PTSD from prison
Facts, tho I would add the prison sentence had zero to do with drug use or possession

Ronnie is a musical god
You have definitely became one of my top 2 reactors!! Ok, the story behind the trilogy is about Ronnie's Drug addiction and getting clean. In the first video, he had developed the addiction and isn't ready to get clean yet, he hasn't hit rock bottom yet. The girl in the video dressed in silver represents a spoon and spits the black tar in his mouth. He developed his drug addiction while he was in prison. After she spit the tar in his mouth, he is floating and his eyes glow to represent him being high. 2nd video - He is starting to realize that his drug addiction is affecting not just himself but it's also creating consequences with his relationships, like for instance, his daughter. Him being in the coma and waking up in 2033 could represent a couple of things...of course drugs can put you in an actual coma. Also, you can stay in a drug haze and before you know it, you wake up and you've wasted most or half of your life. Also, in real life, Ronnie had a dream/nightmare that he dies in 2033. That could be why he wakes up in 2033 (also in the video from watch the world burn, the plane # is 2033) when you asked what he says in that one part, he says, I need a miracle. At the end of the video when the other Ronnie crawls out of the grave, this represents his addiction, he thought he kicked it, but he has a relapse or also is fighting with himself (his addiction) to not have a relapse. That's why the eyes are glowing again representing the "addiction". 3rd video - He wakes up clean....feeling good about being clean, thanking his fans, letting you know this is his destiny, telling you to accept the pain so you can feel again to help inspire others to get clean if they have a problem. Telling us that addiction is like staring down a loaded gun. But then his addiction wakes up to and starts in on him, that's why he takes the chainsaw and screams "Die motherf***er" trying to kill that part of him for good. Then his mom's eyes turn black because she was also an addict that she was never there for him. Then at the end, Willow's eyes start glowing because he is scared she will also fight addiction like him and his mother...so....lol....I hope that helps ❤️ Now....if you really wanna see Ronnie's vocal range, you have to check out "The Drug in Me is You" 2011 and then "The Drug in Me is Reimagined" 2021 and then "I'm Not a Vampire" 2011 "I'm Not a Vampire Revamped" 2021. Love this. Only he developed his drug problem in high school. He got clean in jail. And in Losing My Life, it was “good” Ronnie who was buried. And then “bad” Ronnie was killed in Drugs.
I read somewhere that 2033 was the year he was supposed to get out of prison... Dk for sure though
@@Forgits-n-Shiggles Yeah, that's true too, but he also had that nightmare (probably because that year was on his mind anyways because of jail...lol) So now he seems to associate that year with his death in videos too, like that year being on the tombstone in Losing My Life and that being the number of the plane that is carrying the bomb in Watch the World Burn. But yeah, you're right too, that was definitely the year he was originally supposed to get out of prison ❤️

One of the things I like about Ronnie's lyrics is, that they are brutally honest and personal, but he still managers to write them in a way that leaves room for interpretation and for many others to relate.

I seriously thought I was gonna have to wait for this reaction!!! I’m not surprised that you hear bizzy bone. He grew up on A LOT of west coast rap. And said that even though he creates rock music, his first love was hip hop. That’s he incorporates a lot of it.
But, it’s not clones. It’s his internal struggle that he always has within himself. He described it as jumping between dimensions. There are 2 of him that are battling. The side that wants to prove the world that he’s good enough And then the side of him that’s trying to stop him from doing that. It’s a constant battle he has within himself. And he ends up killing his “reflection” in Drugs. So, that’s what that is. And the “drugs” is not just the literal drugs l, but anything that you’re addicted to, that isn’t contributing to your life. Social media, tv, etc. he’s always bringing up how we’ve gotten so lost in technology and the internet these days.

I never get tired of seeing people react to these videos and see what they get out of the FIR and Ronnie's visions! I also love the trilogy cause we get to see all of Ronnie's epic ink and tats that he's now blacked out for his own personal reasons! This trilogy is just as good live as well!!!

The girl in the silver outfit represents a spoon and the black tar is heroin. He is a former addict. He used to self-medicate for depression and hypochondria. He got clean while serving 2 years in prison, but now also suffers ptsd because of a massive gang fight inside, where he saw people die. Yes, that is his daughter Willow. Ronnie says she is what keeps him grounded, and his reason to keep going. He said, "I need a miracle!". Last video, the feature singer is Corey Taylor, lead singer of slipknot. He came out and did the feature for free, just because Ronnie asked him to. Corey is also a big proponent of mental health awareness, and speaks on it frequently.

It seems like he puts out honest, passionate music when he has something to say, which is why it's epic, and his true fans feel it. People who don't know his story or realize his honest passion is what makes it hit won't get it. There are so many similarities to another artist. I'm happy that there are artists bringing real, honest art back.
It's abt his personal life and how to deal w emotional damage. His mother abandoned him as a child and this is his way of dealing w it along with being sober for several years. He's truly a musical genius. Found him in 2020 and have been hooked since then
Whew, interesting thought on the American Dream. Sounds pretty accurate, put that way. I have heard that in this song, drugs could mean anything you are addicted to, likes on social media, adulation, bad habits, etc.
His mom and dad were both on drugs. His mom left the family when he was a baby. His father eventually got clean and raised Ronnie and his brother Anthony (RIP Anthony). Ronnie was on drugs until he went to jail.

I'm just discovering Ronnie in the last 6 months. This was the first time (out of probably 100 times I've watched these videos) that I realized it's a complete cycle. At the end of Losing my Mind, you hear the intro to Losing my Life. At the end of Losing my Life you hear the intro to Drugs. And at the end of Drugs, you hear...the intro to Losing my Mind. It creates a loop.
Great reaction!! FIR is on another level. Ronnie is a genius at getting his message across. The talent this man has is unparalleled. So, I'm not sure if it was mentioned previously, and I'm so sorry for arriving so late to this party, but I wanted to add a little factoid. The reference of the year 2033 is the year Ronnie would have left prison had he served his entire sentence. Just thought that was interesting that he incorporated that into his songs. I know folks have mentioned the woman representing drugs, but to be more specific, her outfit is representing both Nevada and the United States as a whole (she's a chrome statue of Liberty...both America and Nevada make promises they can't keep and are an illusion of glam and glitter when the reality beneath is something else entirely. The black goo coming from her mouth represents what lies beneath (addiction and other diseases of disparity like mental illness) but also represents black tar heroin... something Ronnie was addicted to.

Ronnie said he had a dream that's the year he dies. He also suffers from anxiety & that dream scared the F out of him, so instead of living in fear of his own life, he embracing it by singing/talking about it, to face his fears. The pandemic also scared the F out of him until he found out it was all lies and bs. His words.
Ronnie loves to challenge ideas, especially if it's something he's really trying to understand. Facing your fears and issues in life is one of the hardest things for anyone to do, so that's pretty metal when you think about what he's doing.
