Air Supply is an Australian-English soft rock duo group who were big in the 80's. They had a lot of great songs such as "Lost In Love", "Every Woman In The World", "Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)", "Sweet Dreams", "I'll Never Get Enough Of You", "Even The Nights Are Better", "Young Love", "Two Less Lonely People In The World", "Just As I Am" etc.
This was written and produced by the late and great Jim Steinman. Steinman produced/ penned many songs for MEATLOAF. Also had hits with Bonnie Tyler, Celine Dion, and even Barry Manilow.
I'm new to watching you two , this will be my third song . I've watched you'll do , and you two are cool , your reactions are fabulous, I've done the alabama, and two Bee Gee's .....fabulous
Critics often panned this group as being to sugary and songs sounding so much alike. They were idiots. These voices alone are some of the best in rock/ pop history. There is not a note that the lead singer can't hit. Geeessshhh. God bless Oz for giving us a full on supply of oxygen.
That's a banger. One of my favorite rock songs. Please, checkout the Sylvers "Wish that I could talk to you" & "Misdemeanor" soul train performances. All of their performances were top notch. The oldest of the group became a great song writer for many talents/artists throughout the years. I loved watching you two reactions to Elvis (the man) songs, that's what brought me to this channel. Keep up the good work.💛💛
Jim Steinman songs are amazing! He has worked with Bonnie Tyler,Celine Dion,Air Supply, and Meatloaf. Whoever sings one of his songs, their voices soar! 😎👍
Im fairly new here. This is meant as a huge compliment: I don’t know any black people that are so diverse with their love of all genres of music. Most Black people that I know are mostly into gangster rap, which doesn’t have a good message. Again, this is not meant to be offensive in any way. It’s actually a compliment because I love the fact that you to appreciate what other artists, new or old have written, and have performed. You guys are amazing. And I love taking this journey with you as a Christian, I try not to listen to secular music. Especially music made today. But love songs like this are universal and I appreciate you guys opening your minds to different types of music. You seem to appreciate artistry over agenda. I love it. Keep doing what you’re doing! I love you guys.
Awesome song Love you're channel please keep them coming ❤ Fyi if you didn't notice the piano and music It was actually written by jim stienman who writes all the music for Meatloaf who chose not to sing it ,but I bet it would have been just as good
Almost without fail, you can see the women’s face soften when a certain lyric along with the melody hits. This is why my older cousins kept an Air Supply cassette tape in their car. 😅 That being said, Air Supply always has that powerful combo of insanely strong melodies, lyrics, and a singer with an amazing voice. The only other pop group that comes to mind in terms of crazy good melodies is ABBA.
Ok, so time to admit some 80's white guy facts. Lol The album this song is on is arguably one of the most known romantic albums of all time.. to white guys from the 80's. But, men/boys can struggle to be romantic so few spoke much of this album. It wasnt "cool" to be a boy and say you loved Air Supply. But here is a hidden 80's factoid. Tons of boys/men actually owned this album/tape... but didnt speak of it. Why did we own it? Because we didnt know when or how but we knew if the right situation presented itself we'd have the opportunity to reach in and grab this album/tape and play it for a girl we liked and we hoped that moment would suddenly become magical.. like a music video. Lol If the album/tape was seen by another man in our collection we would make up some lame excuse why we had it. Aunt bought it for me as a gift etc. That was the rule. And the other rule was that the other guy would have to accept your obviously lame excuse because he damn well knew he either had it himself or admired your boldness to mix it into your main collection. Lol Obviously times have changed. I have 10k songs on an app, can add any song or album i want with the touch of a finger and there is no need to drive to a store or mail order from Columbia House. And i still have 5 or 6 Air Supply songs burried on some playlist.. because you just never know when, in the war that is romance, you will need a romantic nuclear weapon that is an Air Supply song. Lol
As their Playlist in UA-cam and you can have all their lbs in your phone and pick any song you want. Any girl in her late 40s and up will melt once you hit any song. I have them all on mine and i love it. Same with Andy gibb.
Actually, Jim Steinman, wrote this song for Bonnie Tyler, and "Total Eclipse of the Heart" for Air Supply. BOTH songs hit BILLBOARD Hot 100....Bonnie Tyler hit #1 and Air Supply #2, with their respective hits for 5 Weeks, I believe.❤
Iconic song! - but you should watch the original video! This one must've been put together later cuz I've never seen this one 🤔 and it didn't make much sense. The original featured the blonde Graham Russell's real life wife. And I believe they're still together today ❤
Air supply was a group known for their Love songs. Funnily enough they wrote theme to or about each other. And next Air Supply songs Lost In Love, Even The Nights Are Better, Every Woman In The World are first 3 that poped in my head. Really look at their greatest hits and pick one. You will I'd say like entire album. 2-3 are eh but rest are Amazing.
Such a classic, they don’t make love songs like this no more 😭
All Out Of Love is another excellent song of Air Supply's
Russell Hitchcock's vocals are incredible and powerful. He sings so effortlessly.

What a beautiful song.
This was written and produced by the late and great Jim Steinman. Steinman produced/ penned many songs for MEATLOAF. Also had hits with Bonnie Tyler, Celine Dion, and even Barry Manilow.

I 💯 Agree with You! In his heyday, Russell could SLAM a high note ...without getting winded!

Jim Steinman also wrote Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler.
As well as most of Meatloaf's greatest songs.

5:29 the moment he truly understands how powerful this song is

You need to watch Bonnie Tyler’s version she sings it with the original lyrics and it’s absolutely amazing
Actually, Jim Steinman, wrote this song for Bonnie Tyler, and "Total Eclipse of the Heart" for Air Supply.

Nothing beats the 80s
Songs back from 80s 90s are basically poetry paired with tune.
Just listen to the bridge portion 3:56
Just As I Am is another Air Supply song similar to this one.
That’s baby makin music
Air supply was a group known for their Love songs. Funnily enough they wrote theme to or about each other. Sadly you aren't watching the original video by them. Even though this was a version released by them. Still a awesome song
Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock are the singers.
There is no lyrical genius compared to JIM STEINMAN R.I.P (LEGEND)
LEGEND🔥🔥🔥
Another good bass singer, Geoff Castellucci , 'I'm Dreaming of A White Christmas '
❤
Awesome
The only word for that song is devastating.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
