    Hey guys! My DIGITIZED UCAT NOTES are now for sale! 🥳You can get a copy over on my Etsy shop at www.etsy.com/uk/shop/KharmaMedic !
    They’re a drastic improvement of my handwritten notes - I’ve added multiple NEW sections including DM notes, time saving tips & tricks, guides on how to prepare for the UCAT test, and how to know if your score is competitive and more! 😀
    Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel ❤ Happy studying!

      Kharma Medic, if you ever happen to make another video in the future about UCAT preparation, could you maybe go a bit fast through the questions? I understand that you are going slow to really help us break the questions down and understand them but I think that since the actual UCAT is so fast paced, it would be nice if we could get the fast paced experience in your video. Love your videos by the way!

    Did my ucat this morning and did well (with 670 in this section), only resources I used were the official ucat practice questions and your videos and your videos were invaluable, many thanks for taking the time to make these resources :)

    It's always good practice to read one sentence before and after the sentence containing the target phrase, that way you won't have to take the loss of 'one point'.

    I'm in another country trying to get into a top University. There's only 40 student positions left. Over a thousand people trying to apply. We have to do 70 of these type of questions in 1hr. No points taken away for incorrect answers. If you get 66 answers correct, you pass the test. Which means you could get accepted. 65 or lower you don't pass the test, and can't be accepted in. If more than 40 people pass the test. Another test is given, the top 40 get accepted. I'm so anxious. When I get anxious I have to pee like every 10min. During the test I won't be able to leave the room to go to toilet. I don't know what to do? Nothing my psychologist has suggested is calming me down.

      Wow that sounds intense! Which country is this for? And while you are doing tests at home practice not going to the bathroom for longer periods of time to build up some "stamina". Try it!

    hi! i really like your videos.
    i’m a high school student and i have a couple of concerns - i genuinely like the medical field and i would love to peruse medicine as a career one day. i’m willing to work super hard for it. i already achieve B and A’s in school. but my grades tend to fluctuate from time to time.
    but the problem is that, i never grew up ‘smart.’ and that discourages me a bit because there are people out there who have been training for their entire life. -
    i started taking my studies seriously later in life... my senior year is next year and i feel like it’s nearly impossible for me to take the UCAT.
    my general skills (comprehension etc.) aren’t up to par. i’m quite afraid :(
    is there anything i can do to improve my general skills? (in other words, skills that can help me in UCAT)
    should i start preparing now? - it’s in July.
    thank you so much!!!

    Thank you for useful movie! I felt that by comparing each option for a question with general knowledge or information, the answer is already limited, before reading passage.

    • @KharmaMedic
      @KharmaMedic  5 років тому +3

      no no definitely don't do that. Do not use outside knowledge to answer the questions. The questions could say "the colour of the sky is red" and it could be true if that's what it says in the passage!

      @@KharmaMedic Thank you for your reply! I realized that reading passage is the most important.
      I am not native speaker of English, so I have a question. When I read passage, I am very conscious of the structure of the passage. Is it correct?

    What percentage of question 'stems' would you expect to be able to answer in the exam? I've seen some mock exams that have 12-15 stems and I physically cannot do that many questions in 21 minutes :( Also, do you know whether they tend to balance out - like for example if there are some super long passages, there will also be some super short ones? Thanks! :)

    • @KharmaMedic
      @KharmaMedic  5 років тому

      I don't know about balancing it but I would aim to answer all the questions in the allotted time. Build up your speed and use traiging to make sure you get the most marks possible first then move into the more difficult and time consuming ones.
