  • Used variety of different grain pellets, reaching over 1000fps with 16 grain non-lead pellets for the bullpup avenger, right out of the box. Let me know what I can do better and what you would like to see.

Finally a real review that doesn't involve the selling of the gun. I hate these other guys giving nothing but great reviews. Cant stand watching their fake reviews.

STKO did a video on this. He showed the DFL is defective because the adaptor for Avenger is milled wrong for the air escape. Therefore it is unusable in reality. He makes a correct moderator and sells it in his store. His is superior to the DFL setup. Also Terminador Airgunz and Outdoors UTube channel has a correct professional design for these riflelz. I have some on mine and know the differences. Ed snipper man here 💥💪💪💪💯

Great rifle that's highly tunable, I love mine. I've got a Buck-Rail on mine too. Get the one for 30 Cal to prevent pellet clipping. Terry the owner of Buck-Rail recommends to go up a size from what your caliber is. $40.00 and you'll have it in 3-4 days. They ship from Texas. Happy shooting!

about $20 at Menards and 15 minutes of work and you can make something that works as good as most airgun mufflers out there.
      1.25" Sch40 PVC socket coupling x2 $2.78
      1.25" SCH40 PVC coupling X1 $0.96
      1" SCH40 PVC caps X 4 $4.68
      1/2 -20 nut $0.99
      JB weld $6.28
Electrical tape $0.99 (makes a good, low resistance wipe)
D FL adapter $45 (pretty steep, and you can make one for less, or instead of a 1/2-20 nut, drill out a M24 x 1 bolt to fit the shroud)
      Total without adapter: $16.68
Drill and a saw are about the only tools you need to complete it.

Thank you! I got a cheap bipod so not surprised, however I probably won’t invest in a bipod as this is such a great rifle to shoot in the kneeling position for steady shot.

Good content. Have you checked out the airgun exploration and advancement channel? He gives awesome tips on tuning the bullpup. I've put a little over 2000 rounds through mine (also in .25) and have not yet had so much as a hiccup. The power is pretty cool too. I can punch holes in a small Coleman propane can at 94yrds. Taking a turkey should be easy. I'm hoping for a .30 with about 95 FPE in the future. Happy hunting.

Utah Airguns but can look at the right thread size / adapter for your air rifle on DonnyFL's website. It makes a huge difference as without the suppressor, it can sound like a .22. Now it is more quiet and will not have people turning their heads.

Brian, just some constructive criticism on your video. Number one on handling your rifle. Never walk in front of you gun with a mag loaded, cocked or not cocked, that includes removing or installing your Donny FL. Remove the mag, de-cock the rifle, test fire the trigger to make sure it is dead. That is basic gun safety. Chono data, you get a lot of Err because you don't have the hood on, light with the Caldwell can be weird, too much or too little will cause a lot of errors. What i started doing on my videos was hooking up the LED's and waiting to film my stats when the sun was at my back. Eventually, I scrapped the Caldwell and sucked it up and bought the FX pocket chrono, way more consistent and accurate plus it Bluetooth to my phone. Let's talk about ballistics. Manufacturers sell air rifles by pumping feet per second numbers, which is a huge deception to a hunter. For example, you where shooting a 33.95 grain @ 886 fps, and then a 16 grain @ 1048. Your power on the 33.95 is 59.2 FPE vs the 16.54 grain @ 40 FPE. Big difference you would need to push the lighter pellet at around 1300 fps to get equivalent energy. So the lesson here is faster is not always better when it comes to ethical hunting. My only other suggestion is get a benchrest if you plan on doing accuracy testing. Other than that good job on getting out there. The Avenger is an awesome platform and perfect choice for entry into the PCP world, mine spends a lot of time in it's case lately since I got into the world of FX, as a married man I can tell you wife's generally don't like it when husbands spend thousands on a hobby LOL, just some old man wisdom!

    • @Briangutierrez21
      @Briangutierrez21  Рік тому

Thank you for the criticism. I should be more aware of the guns safety and glad you brought that up, thank you for the caring consideration. I have realized the lighter pellets are great for numbers but my favorite is the 44 grain especially at long range plinking because it is more resistant to the wind and will have a tighter spread. I have upgraded from that half wobbly table to a good gun rest finally, makes a world of difference. Thank you for the comment!

Well I sometimes had my bullpup pointed loaded in my derection on safety the trigger cant pull its self it never happened if it happens then il consider it until then.

@Briangutierrez21 I just bought the same exact setup at the beginning of February 2024, I think even the same scope as a birthday present to myself, before I ever saw this video. Is the scope a utg SWAT 4-12x44? The only complaint I have about the cocking lever position vs my avenger 25 rifle is that it is really easy to catch it on something and open it up without knowing
