This channel is a hidden gem - artistically shot and great production quality, and manages to capture some really interesting, honest and human moments. Well done 👏
Absolutely brilliant video Ru the images of the livestock and landscapes and the soundtracks is just heart warming happy Christmas to you all and God bless 👍
Thankyou , very nice podcast . I am like your mum and appreciate what she said , I am not technically together at all . Also Rue , thankyou for sharing how hard it is to do a pod cast .as just a consumer of beef and pod casts I don't see the pains to make either one . I think that's important that's why I watch Farmers and ranchers . More please on what it takes . I feel the stress . Thankyou so much .
This will make you smile I spent two years going around Butchers in Hertfordshire asking them if they could tell me what the breed of beef they were selling was, I was looked at blankly ( and these were good butchers) and all I was looking for was a Herodfordshire or an Angus that was not a cross, I don't think the butchers had ever been questions about the breed of meat they were selling. And I love your ramberling pod cast don't stop
My goodness, Sarah. You are a ray of sunshine. I have a farm and run it with a small team of women on the east coast of Ireland. I think we would be a bad influence on each other. I love the channel Rufus. Keep it coming ❤
Happy Christmas to both of you ! Rufus, shame you didn’t move 6” to your left to avoid that window glare(?). Loved all the chat! Please don’t mention RAIN - my garden is now in full winter boring mode made worse by the constant ‘drizzle’. Hope your (2?) Christmas trees stay up but next year by rooted variety and plant afterwards in your garden. Paul H from WW.
We only run 20-25 breeding cows but theyre mostly Charolais and Limousin so i have a good, secure crush. Like Sarah, we only keep good natured cattle and walk among them daily. The current bull is Angus and a big softie. We used him to cover the two jersey housecows and the best price I ever got for a steer was a Jersey X Angus boy. He had a rear end like a brick outhouse
It’s always a joy when I see your podcast pop up . I appreciate your hard work and the time involved and no one is boring it’s lovely to see and hear about your life on the farm . I watch tv like Sarah 🤣I too will watch a film I’ve will even record one to watch later when I already have the dvd , hey ho 😆 Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous new year bless you all
Well done Rufus. That was really interesting and I loved the little clips of the different animals you slipped into the podcast every so often . I don't think you've actually tried that before, but it worked. Tell mum she isn't at all boring. She is very informative, for instance, I wasn't aware that they were still looking for BSE. Her cows looked very contented too. I also was unaware that there are long and short legged versions of Dexter cattle. An excellent video in every aspect (apart from something very close to the camera, which was getting over your face occasionally) . May we wish you and all your family a very happy Christmas and a productive New Year.
Hello , Happy a holidays . No you are not boring , but I would love to see you filmed doing your daily chores , see the piggy , the cows and sheep . Or walk around answering questions . Like you did earlier . Thankyou . Take care . Some areas are really floating and squishy from too much rain . Where is your mum located . Thankyou for the pod cast .
@@flankfarm your welcome , well how bout proes and cons and old ways verses new ways . What it takes to do what you do Rufus but also what your mum dose . Love the pictures of you walking and talking with your mum in the barns . Very Christmas .
