‘Of course a SHIELD is a valuable tool..temporarily, but if our enemies penetrate it we’re defenseless...’ Marvel was dropping plot lines in broad daylight.
This was actually a pretty good speech by Justin Hammer. As the fate of the movie would have it, Hammer was more villainous than heroic due to working with Vanko, but I think this was a touching scene and showed good character within him. The speech had heart, and seemingly good intentions. It wouldn't' have bothered me if he was at the funeral in Endgame, as a show of respect.
People may not realize just how HARD it is to act in a room full of people, especially a room filled with other actors. Not everyone can be as relaxed, nonchalant and confident as the actor who played Justin Hammer is in this scene. Theater/stage actors have supreme levels of confidence when transitioning to film for a reason.
@@vulpescorvum7602 - Yeah, but he had money. There's no way he'd spend any serious time in jail, especially considering that all he REALLY did was fund Vanko the means to fight Iron Man. The worst thing he could likely be charged for was the prison break.
Interesting fact that you probably don't care about: Obviously in the cities like, Vancouver or Toronto the doors are locked. but in certain parts of the country, particularly remote areas like Nunavut and Newfoundland that is entirely true, no one locks the door because they all know eachother and know that none of them would steal from each other.
"Dont disappoint him and dont disappoint America" Cue Infinity War. "Mr Stark I dont feel so good." Peter looked up to Tony and wanted to be like him. And he had the horror to see the universe lose half of its population
Not to talk about how he basically said Tony couldn't be able to predict every possible scenario. A few movies later he became obsessive with that because of Wanda and then Endgame happened and he didn't know what he'd have to do until the end... he couldn't prevent that, you know? woow Marvel.
I get why Justin Hammer is so mad at Tony Stark. In every scene theyre in, Tony belittles and insults him in a passive aggressive way. No wonder Hammer wanted to destroy him.
isn’t it true where he belittles him everywhere? He only said in court that his company would have to work for another 20 years, but otherwise it’s envy and it’s no longer the stark’s fault
I'd love to leave my door unlocked when I leave the house, but this ain't Canada
Even Stern got sick of Hammer after a while. We need Hammer and his hamminess back in the MCU
Maybe we'll see him again in Armor Wars
@@VisoredKuzu most likely yeah
Got referenced briefly in Luke Cage
Lol I bet hydra brought up the possibility of recruiting him and Stern vetoed it knowing he’d be more trouble than he’s worth.
It's not a doll, Justin! It's a 6" scale action figure.
I love his expression on 1:38
Oscar Jimenez I
Pepper cares enough to ask where he wants the chilli even when he is in court
1:38 hahahaha the look on Tony's face

I mean, many villains talk sweet then act bad, you know?
For me, that speech earned Hammer a place at Tony's funeral
@@lorcis1 he was at jail xD

Didn't duck under the camera when she went by : Classic considerate Virginia
Good blessed Iron man, (by deleting this)
That was a nice speech
I forgot how hammer talked about threats tony couldn’t see and bro created ultron out of a paranoia dream 💀💀💀
Im pretty sure the figure is missing the shoulder pads. Just like every one of those figures at this point
