sounds good. Not sure about the vtec engaging so early though, it's not conventional and it sort of kills the whole fun of the crossover kick higher up in the rev range, now it just sounds more like a normal car from start to end also your more likely to waste so much fuel especially on motorways where it's easy to go above 2900 revs even in 6th. You must have to shift so early to save fuel lol. I wouldn't do it but i'm sure it helps on a race track.....not good for every day life

    Because it is very usefull
i can drive normal when i dont want to race, the vtecs dont kicks in
    Only by full throttle
Its 1 flow when i hit de 2900 rpm,

vtec engages due to a certain degree of oil pressure, not throttle response... go ahead, attempt engaging it when the oil/engine are cold... no vtec due to no oil pressure. dont matter how u map it out, the car always runs like crap when cold. different story when warm though 🚗💨💨💨

This car is not my daily.
He gets every year his services.
I dont have problems with burning my oil or need extra gass. Normally i drive 550km on a whole tank. With the kpro 580/ 600 km.
If i drive normal i dont use vtec.
    Im glad with the results.
    Srry for my bad English

also vtec engaging so often is destructive and tiring for your engine, you will be burning a lot of oil and fast and if your not ontop of your services regularly spending lots of money, something might just go wrong......maybe not such a good idea if you want a car that will last a long time. This is why it should kick in minimum 4600-5000 revs imo, it's safer that way and it's still there whenever you want it

Killswitch1991 stock k20a3 vtec is set to kick in from factory at 2200rpm its why they call it the full time v tec its the economy motor

      @@hoondagang4919 it's not vtec. it's ivtec-e.
"the VTEC-E system effectively forces the K20A3 to act as a 12-valve engine, not allowing one of the intake valves to open entirely until a set RPM is reached.(2200)"
Real vtec kicks from 5000rpm and it's also not as real as in Type-R because it's only on intake camshaft ;)
