You can feel the warmth of the sun as it comes up, played this when I served in a Military Band.( much the same line-up as this wind band) Great piece, Philip Sparke - genius.
I can't hear the horns on some of the more important parts :'( Still, awesome performance :D This is one of the best pieces I've had the privilege of performing!

It's great how at times the clarinets and reeds sound like a string section! Plus its nice to see Sparke conducting some of his great works.

I really like how the flute section is only 3 players. Like an orchestral setting. I think its perfect the way its set up here.
