fancy riding with us next year? A group of us are doing a bespoke ride in June, very similar to the Tor to Tor (perhaps slightly more relaxed!). We have one spot left, so if you’ve been thinking about it but worried about coming on your own, this is the group for you. A lovely group of women, lovely horses a chilled vibe. I’m coming on my own, why don’t you join me? Pop me a DM with any questions or speak directly to Liberty Trails ❤️
I'm not 100% sure myself as I think it depends on your individual circumstances. My advice would be head to the website, take a look at their offering and if it aligns with you and your riding, get in touch with them: liberty-trails.com/
You're not a failure. We are not compatible with all horses. Seriously, we are not. One of my favourite horses was my sadly departed Thoroughbred who was so good in traffic that he cheerfully ignored the fact that I am scared of traffic. I miss him. Reality says that if he hadn't been put down at the age of nineteen, he'd be thirty years old now. Not likely. Oh well. Be kind to yourself.
Hey what a stunning place to ride!!! I’m happy you got to enjoy your ride better once you swapped your mount! Hattie looks like a very nice horse. I feel I’ll need to start saving for a holiday like this!! Just curious about the safety vest, do you fit it again for when you’re wearing those clothes versus summer when you wear just a shirt? I recently purchased my first vest and am utterly confused about it 😂
@@gatosandwichera thank you! And great question - the body protectors are designed to be as close to your body as possible and fit tightly whenever they are worn, so you a vest /baselayer underneath and anything bulky like coats / big jumpers on top.
You’ve inspired me to book some riding on my upcoming holiday! And I hope you’ll find overall this experience to be a massive boost to your confidence and riding ability, even more so for the challenging nature and wobble you had, we don’t grow if we stay in our comfort zones.
Glad Hattie was more suitable- did you just do a straight swop with another rider then? If so, did they like Welshy?! If you don't ask you don't get I always reckon!
Yes a straight swap - with Isy, a rider who has been doing the Tor to Tor for years - a fabulous rider who rides horses professionally, so she was very happy to hold Welshy's hand a bit more!
Funnily enough someone had swapped FROM Hattie to Buttons on day 1, so Isy went Buttons > Hattie > Welshy over the three days 😂 but she did say she enjoyed having the different horses to experience. A bit of a different year for her I suppose!
You were amazing and so glad you were brave enough to speak up and change horses and feeling happier with a horse similar to what you normally ride. 🐴🐴🐴💜🇮🇪
Wow really enjoying watching this trilogy series. You did so well, that riding looks fast paced! I can’t wait to see episode 3. And well done for being confident enough to speak up about wanting to change horses x

I would love to but I don’t know how easy it is for disabled riders
I'd like too. Where do I get more info please? x
Perhaps 2026. Something to aim for. I haven’t ridden for 11 years, but going to try again

i love that you showed and explained your loss in confidence and horse swap! it’s so relatable and so refreshing !❤
I'm so glad you found it that way! Thank you for watching.

like everyone said its awesome you spoke up about not feeling good on the horse you were on and that the leaders were super supportive too 💚
Were you cantering or galloping? Looks fun and challenging
I think cantering on this day, but some galloping on the episode being uploaded tomorrow at 5pm I’m sure of it! We kicked things up a gear ❤️

I appreciate this very much (and I can feel the love for your cheerfully traffic-sound thoroughbred ❤️)

Fantastic! You must let me know what you end up doing. And yes to the confidence piece, I can definitely feel a difference.
What are you using to film with? Love the quality of you're videos
@@majakragelund1333 thank you! A mix of iPhone, GoPro and Sony ZVE10 ❤️
