      In some languages we must use 'the' (in the language) in front of names, not by choice, it's the rules of the language. So when learning English it's sometimes hard for some people to remove it when they talk. Please understand that.

    Interesting that it's Ukrainian 33rd Independence Day, and not a peep from Russia...Putin seems rather paralyzed at the moment...let's hope that continues. Ukraine has earned its victory and freedom for all its territory a just peace. It will happen.
