    Seaweed is AMAZING!
Man, from my research, seaweed is the single most nutritious food on the entire planet.
Seaweeds alone contain 20x, yes 20 times the amount of minerals than land-vegetables - can you believe that?
    Can you dig it!!!?
Everyone should be supplementing with seaweeds everyday for radiant health!
i personally consume aroudn 3-4 pounds of seaweed powders every month, i get mine from maine coast sea vegetables - the purest and cleanest source of organic sea-vegetables.
    my favorite are:
    Irish Moss
    Bladderwrack
    Kelp
    Dulse
    - for now, i am experimenting and changing varieties each month to make sure i am getting everything i need from these delicious and nutritious food sources!
So many minerals, you can get all that you need from these sea-veggies! they are amazing and extremely healthy and good for you.

Thanks guys, great video. I would love to see some videos, on the potential for floating farms, at huge scale in the deep oceans, especially for animal feed and bio=fuels. I read about a project using wave-generated power to pump up cold, nutrient-rich water from the depths, to provide nutrients to the floating farms. I watched the entire film, because I'm interested, but to spread your message, I'd advise ALSO releasing a heavily edited 10 - 15 minute version. Thanks again.

This video made me salivate. I MUST have a list of products and corresponding recipes! Anyway, I'm thinking about all that was discussed and think there is a way to automate the systems, but people are still required along the way to set up the automated version of the system. I find it interesting that China has a 2' separation distance between main lines, since biofouling is more common in distances shorter than 4ft. They seem to have resolved the biofouling problem by harvesting more frequently. I'm interested in any literature or textbooks they use or have produced to teach others with or for training purposes.
VERY informative video and deeply enjoyable to watch. I didn't know China produces seven different species of kelp! Very cool to see both China and South Korea. I want to try the ramen soups with nori now as well as the other available options.

I wonder what the potential is for growing seaweed in the Meditterranean. Water temperature is high, which may be an obstacle, but there are areas with a lot of minerals run-off from the land. And there’s plenty of sunshine. Can seaweed also be used to clean the water removing pollution)?

So they visited seaweed energy solutions by Kaya, Olavur? from Ocean Rainforests, in Qingdao the institute of Oceanography of the Chinese Academy Of Sciences with Professor Shaojun Pang who specializes in seaweed with sacchrina japonica, wakame or Undaria pinnatifida, porphyra, gracilaria, and iskia? with Rongcheng production base, there they make measurements of length, biomass, width, color, water content, then move to Seoul Korea. They went to the seaweed research center of South Korea of the National Institute of Fisheries Sciences with Eung Kyoung Hwang. Later they went to the German seaweed grower of Sylt island, Klaus Luning. They basically make sheets of kelp from tiny pieces that get dried up and also maybe roasted. Maybe boiled to then be roasted, salted and pressed.... Hope some of you may use these names to find a way to contact like me.

Tera gram kelp facility. Upregulating carotenoid content? Multi-species seeding! I have a feeling the seeding cord is overly tight in it's twining pattern. The an analysis of the 'rugosity' of every substrate and related form (bundle, fascicle, planular, setae)

Thanks for your comment! I know that there are several seaweed experts working on the topic in India. There are also a number of projects where seaweed is cultivated in India already. If you do a little research you will find information and contacts for India. If you have any questions you can write us too.
