Very nice documentary! I wonder what the potential is for growing seaweed in the Meditterranean. Water temperature is high, which may be an obstacle, but there are areas with a lot of minerals run-off from the land. And there’s plenty of sunshine. Can seaweed also be used to clean the water removing pollution)? Another potential growing area is the North Sea, between the windmill farms.

There is a good reason why seaweed is not in mass naturally. If it grows in mass it steals the sun from other organisms and takes the oxygen and other nutrients and destroys life in the sea area it covers. Fish die.
