Thanks! One of the first tricks I learned over a 2' spine. But took me weeks to land this trick instead of only one day, back truck always locked. If you know this trick, you can do it also as a kind of "rock" drop in from the quarter over the coping. Yes fakie/backwards is also fun, will also help you to start learning fakie disaster, you lose some fear for the fakie disaster when you already know how to do the rock over spine fakie.
@@trogarmy Your videos (and a hard slam coming from an axels stall) have inspired me to go back to the basics and I am progressing way faster and with more confidence!! 👊45 years old here with no previous skating experience so basics and confidence are key lol!
Great video. My local park has a ramp almost exactly like this one - 3' tall and mellow with a nice spine. I've got these spine-rock-transfers on it, but haven't built the courage to start learning how to air over the spine. Any tips for that? No hands, not quite an ollie, just sucking up the legs and dipping my front shoulder and (hardest part I think) keeping the board under my feet. I'm convinced I'm going to flip backwards and crack my head on the coping when I land on the other side.
Wow...ok first time I've heard to slide my front foot up during the rock. Wonder if this little nugget of gold will help me with rock to fakie ( which I thought I had until I bodied so hard from a hang up I lost them). Thx for all of these! 💯🔥🛹🤜
The breathing thing its interesting. I have a long ski background and I trained with one of the best demo skiers out there and always emphasize the important of accompain breathing. I kind of get the feelong of ot but I find its not always possible to do it as the run rithms dont always mach the rithm at wich you need to take oxigen... what do you think about this?
How do u ride up a ramp and jump to the top jump and then grab ur board at the same time. Like u hope off as u start going up and one foot lands first on the top and u grab the board w one hand. Idk how u call that.
@@trogarmy not airs. I don’t think This would count as a trick, it’s more of a move like dropping in. I think It can be done on flat ground, if u hop off your board and press the tail so board jumps and u grap it, Imagine doing that as u start going up a half pipe. I’m gonna look for a clip and send it.

Great video and great series! Thanks a lot! Looking forward to unlock all of them 🍻🐒🎉

Do you have a video dedicated to miniramp and breath exercises?
No specific to breathing but I might as well do one!!
nice spine
got to have backbone you know!
This is exactly what I needed dude! Do you recommend rails for mini skating, or should I remove mine?
Dear the only thing rails are good for it for protecting your graphics and grabs
@@Trev612 also good for hang ups though. Less chance to hang up on rocks. But I slide a little bit when trying spine transfers cause their slick
It been a while since I used rails but I don't see them holding anyone back
YES!!! I had a huge slam on a 4ft (hung up)... ribs still hurt :)

And 2:32 there’s a different move but that one seems self explained.

I can not understand what you are saying unless I use headphones. Would be really cool if you would use an extra audio recorder on you.
That would be nice.
