This work looks like serious fun. I enjoy watching these videos. They are very interesting and educational. The restoration of old firearms is fascinating to me... Please keep the videos coming, l look forward to the next.
(Mike C.) This is right about where I am on my rolling block projects. Actions have been annealed, (new) barrels are in the white. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming hand polishing episode! Mark, the gunsmith that did the machine work on my rollers told me that Remington breech blocks and hammers were polished out and blued after first being case hardened. I'm wondering if that's what Colt did with that lightning trigger????
Thank you for this video it’s very interesting process that you go through I enjoy this type of work I’ve always had fun doing a lot of things myself but I’ve always wanted to have all the equipment to really do it right but it’s fun to watch you guys do it and see how it comes out can’t wait for the next video.
Hi Mark! Was wondering about your thoughts on Aero Kroil penetrating oil as far as firearm metal protection. I’ve heard that it can damage certain types of bluing. You reminded me of it as you were describing the finish damage on that lightning due to accidental chemical application.
Invaluable info for those of us who have nobody to ask or show us these techniques. Thanks !
As an amateur gunsmith, I find this video very informative! I’m waiting on the next installment. Thanks for producing these.
This is a great series, thank you Mark!😊
Fascinating series. I'm looking forward to future installments.
Thank you, Mark, for another superb quality episode. Cheers from NZ🇳🇿.
I'm so glad you're doing all of these videos.
Another great video Mark. See you in Greeley.
Hey Mark! Great video reminds me of the old serials where the kids need to come back next week to see what our favorite cowboy gets into.
Keep m coming! Love this subject.

Thank you.
It looks like that rifle may have come from a home in the Black Swamp region of NW Ohio. Black Sulphur water plays hell on metals.
👍👍👌👌
When's the next video coming?
I think I'll pass on the DIY and send it to you.
