Klaus Meine on fire in this song. Great tune. I find it to be so impressive that Klaus was able to have so many hits singing in his second language. Very impressive.

It was written by the singer, Klaus Meine and the lead guitarist, Rudolph Schenker. My all time favorite!!! It took six years to get this on an album because the producers didn't think it would be popular. They thought wrong!!!🎵🎼🎶🎹🎙🎧🎸🥁🎤🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘
Great reaction guys! I don't always mind a 'video' version, but this is one where the album version was needed! It's extended beyond this, and it's worth every second, minute! The Scorpions........their back catalogue is huge.......their early music with Uli Jon Roth on guitar is amazing......check out " The sails of Charon".🎸🎸
I have been a fan of you guys for a while. I watched a few, well, ALL, of your Rush reactions because I love Rush, and now I watch pretty much whatever you do. I just really enjoy how you respect so many kinds of music. Thanks for what you do, and keep doing it! I also have a suggestion. Like Rush, Triumph is a Canadian power trio. I was lucky enough to see them live in Toronto in the early 90s and they completely kicked ass. They sounded incredible live. Great reaction as usual and Peace out guys ✌️ ☮️
I saw the Scorpions in concert in 1983 at Day on the Green in Oakland. It was an all-day concert with eight bands. Scorpions were the headliner. The opening band was a new up and coming band. Metallica.
For me, a teen in the Midwest US in the early 80s, their big breakout album was 1982's Blackout. That song was on the radio every hour for a month. This song comes from the follow up album Love at First Sting and that blew up even bigger. From it came their biggest hits. This song, Rock You Like a Hurricane and Big City Nights. I'd throw in Bad Boys Running Wild and Coming Home. My favorite song though is from a few albums before this and that's The Zoo. It wasn't the album recording that made me love though. It is on their live album World Wide Live, I saw that tour, and it's just so cool with the talk box and all.
It would be great if you could check out some of their recent songs, like "Seventh Sun" or "Peacemaker". Klaus Meine and Rudolf Schenker are in their mid 70s but still going strong. Also, fun fact, former Motorhead drummer Mikkey Dee is currently playing drums for Scorpions.
This song reminds me of my parents. I was a 7-year-old girl who loved it when my parents played this song on the record player! It's a timeless ballad.
Being a kid in the 80's riding around with your brother in his suped up 79 camaro rockin out to this song along with motley crue and quiet riot. I thought it was so cool that my big brother would let me hang out with him and his friends. The only reason they brought me along though was when they would go to the skating rink, which were popular hangouts in the 80s, so they could have me skate over to girls they wanted to hook up with and repeat pickup lines to them that my brother and his friends would teach me. I guess they had figured out having a cute little kid come up and say some cheesy lines to a group of girls worked like magic. Of course I got taken home and ditched once the mission was accomplished. But i didnt care. I was getting to hang out with highschool kids and get attention from girls. LOL. That memory always pops in my head when i hear this song or Quiet Riot's song Metal Health (bang your head)
The vuguitarist of "THE SCORPIONS" is RUDOLPH SCHENKER and his brother had a band called "THE MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP" in 1979 after he left the Scorpions and his brother took over as lead guitarist for that band. Michael is one of the best guitarist's from the late 70's but very underrated. You need to check out some of their music.
I grew up with the Scorpions. They were always one of my fav bands. Few suggestions: No One Like You, Passion Rules the Game, Rhythm of Love, Big City Nights, Blackout, The Zoo. All bangers!!!!
I've seen Scorpions three times live. The first was in the eighties, the second time was in California when they opened for Aerosmith in the 90's, the last time was last month in Vegas. They're still freaking fantastic
