10 things I've learned about Ermac today:
1. Only Jerrod knows who killed him, yet we do not know for ourselves. Only we know it's not Li Mei's fault.
2. Ermac possibly controls elements.
3. Souls within him fought Onaga.
4. Ermac has Sindel's scream
5. HE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND PRONOUNS.
6. One of the souls within him really said "YOUR MOVIES ARE TRASH, CAGE!"
7. Souls within him saw Great Kung Lao.
8. Souls within him was a suitor for Madam Bo.
9. HE DOES NOT HAVE CARNAL NEEDS. MAN REALLY REJECTS HORNY.
10. HE. HATES. NITARA.(Who could blame him, though? He speaks for us all considering her voice.)
Have we really scratched the surface or are there much, MUCH more about him that we have yet to explore?
Ermac understands enough that Ermac refers to Ermac's self as We and Our as opposed to I and Me or My.
As an extra sting for #6: The souls who call Cage trash are performers as well, so literally the same line of work as him.
For #10, Ermac makes it pretty clear to many others that a lot of the souls within him are soldiers, many of which fell during Outworld's war against Vaeternus. So while Nitara is a hate sink in this game to begin with, Ermac's hatred towards her is extra justified.
I'd also add the very first intro with Sub-Zero. If we take Ermac at face value when he tells Bi-Han the souls composing him are "as innumerable as the stars" and presume from this that Ermac means the visible stars in the night sky, this ends up tracking with his incarnation from the previous timeline, wherein he was titled the Being of Ten Thousand Souls (nearly as many stars are visible from Earth's night sky with the naked eye).
Ermac may as well be related to everyone 😂
He also doesn’t know slang language like the F word.
Is it just me or does anyone else love Ermac’s voice?
Actually, The default announcer, Ermac and Jerrod were voiced by the same man, Jamieson Price.

Sephiroth (slightly annoyed): That's my line, undead monstrosity.
Ermac: Unlike Aerith, we will return from you killing us, One-Winged Angel!
Sephiroth (puzzled): And I just killed you, too... That's a first.
Ermac: SHINRA had no business making you. You will submit to the order of nature and perish!

There's men, women, and more in Ermac. It's a good question to ask. I guess in the end, Ermac is Ermac and the only thing we know is that Ermac refers to Ermac in the plural first person.
