I love RJ's attitude of (to echo Zappa) and determination to just "Shut up and play yer Guitar!" More playing, demonstrating sonic possibilities, and a whole LOT less yakking! That's what I'm talkin' about!
Sounds wonderful RJ ! Remember when this was the must undesirable of tones ? Fuzz, omg are you kidding, Says man from 80s, with boutique cascading gain stages.
Guys, does anybody know any good affordable tone bender clones/variations? There's so many fuzz faces, big muffs etc., but the tone benders all start at 150+ bucks it seems.
@@Jwyl90 Sure, I appreciate your reply. But for this one I'd pay 140 euros including taxes. And I know of cheaper kits, like 30 or 40 euros, and I plan on buying a kit. But that wasn't my question.
@@mrcoatsworth429 bummer about the European price jump. As far as pedals go I feel like the Keeley Fuzz Bender might be worth looking into? Where I’m at at least they’re generally around $100

That's a damn good sounding mkII fuzz, I'm pretty sure it doesn't have 70 year old mythical ge resistors either.
I never knew Knaggs had tunning issues wow.
Way Huge Swollen Pickle is a good fuzz as well.
Sounds like Jupiter and Mars, exploding into stars... Yeah
Hey, RJ , do you build these kits yourself? it looks like something I would like to try.
DIY is an awesome hobby, and a great way to access old circuits or customize them to your own tastes.
