- We do and ecu edit on the barra fornd territory. More of a edit than a tune. adjusting tinting, rev and speed limiters as well as a little crackle action!!

How are you monitoring afr with the PCMTec? Do you have a separate wideband?
To be honest we weren't, but we weren't messing with the fuel too much for that reason, just timing, higher rev limiter, pop n crackle. That's why I call it a edit not a tune 😎 being N/A im not too worried about afr, just reading plugs like the old days 🤣
@RossHollandAU I'm looking at buying it to adjust my fuel maps so I can put a bigger turbo on my FG. Wasn't sure if you could tie in a wideband to it for logging but it looks like you answered my question :)

@@d4nr055 i usually just run a afr gauge to a sensor in the exhaust , similar to the dyno blokes when I'm doing turbo stuff 👌
Hang on... Are you going turbo or not?? Good to see tuning however it is missing a turbo??
Still planning on turboing it.. just got delayed with my wedding coming up and the job possibly taking longer than I have time at the minute.. so until then I'm going a nitrous setup, explore how that setup goes then move onto the turbo. It's my daily drive atm so I can't really have it off the road for very long 👌
I'll keep watching 👀 however have you changed your mind or ...everything takes time...

@@dannyalmeida1015 I've still got all the parts there.. just the wedding is taking priority at the moment 🤣 I work 6 days a week so it's more of a time and tools issue haha. I could've just waited to turbo it or have some fun in the meantime... I chose fun!
It is not an easy job converting to turbo ! One thing leads to turbo rods pistons , gears , valve springs , then you end up rebuilding the whole suspension because of the extra Monster torque . Then the gearbox dies and pretty soon you have spent nearly 40 k and a whole rebuilt car !
Have you thought about a shift kit ? I've just done one on my Terri and makes the shifting harder and doesn't drop the revs like normal
I actually have one! Used it on my falcon good bit of kit. I was interested to see how tuning a shift kit in would go. Shifts much the same as the shift kit under heavy operation but we have set it up so its relatively smooth when cruising instead on the on and off switch like the shift kit 👌

My BA has valve springs and a bit of head work minus the cams, mad 196kw on the hubs and with a 100 hit made 275kw

Unlock ecu, pull the standard tune off and start playing around with timing and fueling, data logging and making adjustments 😎

Can someone explain PCMTEC To me
I am about to convert my Greentop to Petrol can I use pcmtec to tune the system for the greentop petrol conversion.
Higher compression etc
If your running the Ford ecu and its a petrol one then you should be able to use pcmtec 👍 but the conversion your doing is the trickier of them to do if its the car itself was on full time gas

Unfortunately not, a fair bit of learning to do but it's possible if dedicated enough and have a decent knowledge of cars and willing to learn! Professionals are always the first choice 😎
