Do you think that there's some innate recoil reduction properties with PeakP? I actually think that the reticle tries to reset faster during/after firing, effectively reducing recoil like the recoil reduction kit (although not as much). I don't play as much or have as good of a feel like you do so I'm curious if you feel the same thing...

Two things: 1. depending on which version of the strat jammer you have to deal with, you can take it out with the spear. I think the version at 21:44 is the only version that can be destroyed with the spear, but I'm not sure. 2. Is it just me, or does the stalwart seem largely pointless now that we have both the normal LMG and the HMG is finally in a good spot?
@@Sarge94 Meh, after the shrapnel removal of the Eruptor it became kind of lame. It's been great since the recent patch where they buffed it up again though. And yes, Peak Physique is fantastic.
Man, that flubbed dive at 40:45 physically hurt. I've been there a time or two, knocked out of position by fatfingering a key or misjudging distances. Not pleasant, not in the slightest. A few things of note I've learned via proximity to a friend of mine who swears by the Eruptor: Apparently, it three-taps a turret to the back or sides, and it three-taps a gunship to anywhere. I gave it a go myself once or twice and can confirm its effect on gunships, but I mostly just used my AMR on turrets. I'm afraid I'm not a fan of it, though. It's clunky, slow, hard to use, and necessitates that I give up any chance of efficient long range chaff clear (CS Diligence my beloved). If I want the option of shooting fabricator vents, I'll swap for an autocannon. Speaking of, AC is apparently exceptionally well paired with Peak Physique, there's hardly any aim drift at all. One last thing, apparently rocket sentries are a solid AA option now, they appear to take three or four shots to down a gunship, possibly less if they hit an engine. I'll look into it further to try to get some hard numbers for you.
I love the Heavy Outpost fight at the 28:00 minute mark. You put a full 380 barrage on the compound and still have to do pretty much the entire thing by hand anyway.
It's just that running fast = positioning/fleeing better = more survival & occasions to shoot, the build doesn't matter. The fact that so many different builds exist doesn't come from that booster, it's their efforts at balancing the numbers (damage/penetration/ammo/recoil etc), each tiol&weapon feel in a decent spot (except railgun but few care, the only flaw is grenade variety imo). The infusion booster is just a cherry on the top.
Man that is some nimble weapon handling, swatting down those gunships was so smooth even when missing recoil reduction. And one heck of an extraction too. I love using the Eruptor on bot dropship's "cargo", one shot in the middle of its bottom before bots hop down slaps so many troopers and even scout walkers. I rarely see anyone else doing that trick with splash damage weaponry and instead shooting down the entire dropship. I just find it annoying how janky that thing gets when downed.
@ things that come to mind watching this. 1) Very well done, how the hell you're able to gauge where to fire in first person mode is amazing, I'm still working on it. Do you have any tips for the HMG? 2) I wonder if the gunship you shoot down; if the light beam still hits you, does that alert other nearby bots/gunships or is it nothing serious?

Indeed. I had a pretty good run yesterday, cleared the entire map without dying and was already running to extraction when i encountered a gunship patrol. One of them fired a salvo at a hellbomb that i was not aware of. Guess what happened next... So yeah, its personal now 😂
Love the gameplay. I just cant get into this armor set. Not with skin showing on blizzard/ extreme heat / acid rain planets. It just doesn't make sense. So I'll miss out on this perk. Great run as usual
I love the Eruptor and as soon as I read what Peak Physique is meant to do I knew it was the weapon to use it with. HOWEVER Now that the Explosive Crossbow is buffed and can take out buildings, I can't justify the Eruptor. Crossbow just seems better.
Eruptor hits like a truck and flies straighter. The explosion is also considerably stronger. I still prefer the xbow too, but the Eruptor has its perks

that extract was cinematic as hell (divers) very well played. really good resupplies and overall tactics, as well as good diving and manoeuvring.
Eruptor + HMG is my favorite loadout against bots right now.
It was already a pretty good combo. Peak Physique is like a cherry on top.

I feel like the new stim booster really made it easier to run different loadouts. Probably their best addition so far.
