Never thought I’d see the libpen used for stealth. It’s always felt like more of a brute force weapon to me. Awesome run, Sarge, it’s always a pleasure to watch you style on the bots.
if I wanted a weapon that can brute force and remain silent dcs is still better too...abjudicator for bugs, dcs for bots it needs a buff, that 4x crit is not going to cover for its horrible damage
if you didn't move, that maton wouldn't have detected you, and gotten shot by arriving pelican. what an impressive run. this inspires me, rather than just "obviously i can't play like these guys", it makes me go "it can be done!!!"
That SAM site was super helpful for the gunship patrols. That makes me think they should add secondary objectives tied to the mission modifiers. Like always have a SAM site for gunship patrols or something like a "GPS coordinator" for the orbital scatter modifer
Always inspirational to see your work @Sarge Gotta love how a few toopers seem to always lock on to a helldiver no matter how well hidden they are, even if they're nowhere near extraction (like during emergency). I had one where I stayed more than 100m away, and 3 troopers just broke off from the blob getting agitated at extract and came straight for me, started shooting and brought the apocalypse. Still extracted thought, running, like a coward, but an alive coward :D
really cool to see the sam site sneak and the hellbomb locations again on the command bunkers. I still rely way too heavily on the autocannon/airstrikes to take out heavy bases though. always more to learn! Thanks for another great video.
Oh something I’ve noticed in your previous videos and in this one too is that whenever you kill a fab with a hellpod, you always throw it right next to the fabricator. Why don’t you just toss it in the vent? I find that it’s a lot more consistent that way.
Wait wait wait, are you telling me they stick in the vents? I swear i tried that a long time ago and it didn't work. Seems like i need to revisit this technique!
@@Sarge94 yeah, both blue and red stratagems stick in the vents. I use it to guarantee a smoke strike kill or to drop an SSSD into the fabricator next to the air control tower. It’s also pretty nice for taking out fabricators next to detector towers with the hellbomb drop, or for just getting a little bit more out of a resupply or support weapon drop.
Seems like they might've patched it or it requires a really good angle. It worked once with the jetpack using the slam dunk technique, but failed 2 times in a row from the ground (tested today, the calling ball just disappears)
@@Sarge94 since they haven’t mentioned fixing this in any of the patch notes and the fact that it still can be pulled off inconsistently, I’d be willing to bet that it not working is unintended. Hopefully the functionality returns soon. In the meantime, we can continue wondering just how AH keeps breaking things that seem completely unrelated to the stuff they were fixing.
Thats nearly my bot loadout. Also, did you know you can throw the artillery shells? Juggle them by dropping and picking up, then just after you press "pick up" press your change weapon key. If done correctly, the artillery shell gets thrown quite far.
Hey @Sarge 24:52 whats with that placing many markers in.a circle around the extraction site? And moments later 25:28 the patrols walk away - can they sense the marker or something? Is that a legit strategy to keep them off the extraction site?
Shame that the Liberator Penetrator's damage is so whack its simply does not worth using on a long term, too bad because its one of the best looking ARs in the game EDIT: Same thing with the AR-23E Concussive, i want to like it so much but that damage is so underwhelming, it should have like 80 damage, 550 RpM and full auto function, it would be like the Adjudicator but instead of having medium armor pen, it would have stagger and explosive damage bonus
@@Sarge94 i was thinkin more along the lines of a challenge build, like being limited to 2 stratagems or something like that. Like self imposed rules to make it more difficult

Long story short, the bots kill and harvest humans for their organs and biofuel (and experimentations) with which they can use to build more bots, yes the bots in fact have human brains and some other squishy parts, think of the Strogg from the Quake series, essentially doing the same, but the most horrid thing about those brains? That they are still alive and sometimes use the bots voice module to beg to the Helldivers to put them out of their misery and to tell them that they cannot control themselves, pretty much spectators in a body they can't control. As for the remaining human body parts that they don't need? They use them for psychological warfare, see Berserkers and Hulks who have human skulls on their spikes.
24:12 you can see the SEAF-SAM doing work off in the distance shooting down some gunships extremely satisfying
As an Australian I can confirm that our inhospitable wasteland infested with bots is in dire of need of a cleanup

it makes sense in gameplay, but the SAM site one seems like it wouldn't make sense tactically, idk, I might just be dumb
It looked like you were going to get away with a clean extraction, but that lone Bot had to tattle on you. Great run!
So clean. Thanks for the tip about the secret Hellbomb spot by the command bunkers!
2:57 never thought id see batman join the helldivers
every time i watch your videos i learn something new, i didn’t know the laser cannon could open up crates!
I didn't know it could take out a gun ship so damn fast! This man inspires me😂
@@atypikul1426 I mean, this guy is practically one of, if not THE BEST at Automaton missions.
So far we have only seen light fabricators so it’s a possibility that they would be upgraded soon 😮

HOLY SHIT the laser Cannon HANDLES them gunships! I gotta try that out!

fun fact the Spear can 2 shot command bunkers!
Another good day for Helldivers when sarge is playing
9:15 "HEHE Yeahh! Show them who's in Charge!!"
LETS GO
Laser cannon is underrated. People always go for spear or autocannon. But laser cannon is my go to for bots
Bravo sir! 👏🏿
Laser bro! Smooth af.
I'm convinced that Sarge can take (almost) any weapon and use in in stealth missions against the bots
Smooth AF.
I see I'm not the only one switching my builds up😂
You should do one using the tenderizer for stealth. I've been trying to make it work recently. I'd love to see how you would use it

I check the map for red spots I need to go to, but it almost seems if you also look at the terrain structure for routes, rocks to hide behind, etc.
Mostly for side objectives, which have pretty characteristic shapes. But sometimes for terrain structure too
Which planet was this? Looks beautiful and you can clearly see! Great gameplay!
Edit: spoke too soon with the fire tornadoes 😂

I read that spear can 2 shot the bunkers now. I bet that might trivialize this entire mission.
Depends on the angle. Sometimes it takes a much as 4 to blow up a command bunker.
15:20 bro i was thinking that too!... But it could be more accurate if you trhown the stratagem *inside* the vent ya know?
I didn’t know they would leave the extraction site
They do that, but it's pretty rare as patrols have increased awareness when you complete the main objective.

The scout armor's passive allows you to see enemies around pings, i used it to scout for incoming patrols.
