29 F. I am proud. I am Regal 👸🏽 and noble and strong. I have both rising and moon in Leo. I do have a strong jaw. When I’m in immaculate shape it is more prominent. Square yes. I embrace my balance and yin yang of course ☯️ I am like a sunshine ☀️ walking in the room and people feel my warmth. I am fiery. I don’t have yellow eyes. But yellow was my favorite color growing up. My entire room was yellow. I was obsessed with yellow as a child 👧 lol. Actually my older brother has yellow eyes and he is a Leo Sun 🌞. A great example of a male with a "feminine jaw" was Leonardo DiCaprio when he was young which became more Leo rising (pardon the pun) as he got older. The young Dolph Lundgren had a very Leo rising jaw and mouth. Two gorgeous females with Leo rising jaw and mouth areas are Angelina Jolie and Olivia Wilde. Ps These are just references to the description, if anyone needs it. I didn't check their astrology charts.

Thank You, very interesting. As a woman with Leo ASC and Moon, there are some things that are true, but others that most likely are influenced more by Sun in Virgo and Mercury and Venus in Libra. But this clarified thigs. By the way, I have a friend with Leo ASC a woman, who really goes into woods and mountains alone intentionaly and each year finds more scary things to experience. She taught me a lot about not being scared of being adventurous in the physical world.
Sometimes I really struggle with my dominant nature and the masculine and feminine parts of myself.

I feel a tiny bit wiser once again, Thanks Vic! To a more personal note: I have Mars retrograde in Leo 2nd House and I haven't ever thought that that particular placement could have something to do with my tendency to wander around wherever in my isolation bubble from others so I can charge up. Though I also have Ketu in Bharani and elephants sure like to wander around too :D

Wonderful video Vic. The explanation on masculine/feminine archetypical intelligence and approach to Vānaprastha is extremely interesting and intriguing. I have often asked “where are the female forest yogis… why are there so few stories written… why are their stories untold?” It makes sense that women MAY have pursued sannyasa in a different way… with a few unique cases mirroring the male Vānaprastha. Nonetheless, I am eager to hear about the unique women who walked that path! The discussion on the archetypes is inspiring and very sad at the same time; very little honorable exercise of masculine power with respect to feminine guidance for the greater good. I see women everywhere working to be both the protector and nourisher of the family; we can never repay our debts to the mothers of the earth. May culture shift back to dharma, one family at a time.
As a Magha Rising pada 4, I definitely want to see more examples how this energy expresses itself through examples of different women as it is a masculine sign. I’ve had negative projections from coming off too strong to those not used to or liking seeing a woman in her power as in their eyes it is a role only for men. As far as the physical description goes, I resonate more with having a strong body vs the facial traits as I have a small nose/chin and characteristics of neoteny with high cheekbones and not a lot of hair coming from my indigenous traits. So I wonder how these descriptions apply to different races of people. I also don’t listen to my mother as I’m here to break generational patterns. Interesting video, thank you Vic.

Everything applies to sub charts. Just remember that sub charts are subordinate within a larger context set by the main chart.

Lool! Dealing with people's disappointment at being deemed masculine looking by their ascendant! I have a square jaw and thick eye-brows, plus broad shoulders and narrow hips, so some masculine traits. Though I am female, it never bothered me. A male plastic surgeon once offered me laser hair removal for my eye-brows, which was totally unrelated to my request for him to remove a facial scar, which I thought rude of him. I said, "Aww, are my bushy eye-brows scaring you?!"

😅😅😅 I covet a strong chin! So I'm a Leo rising and what's so interesting is that I don't have a strong chin BUT am jealous of those who have one. Literally, if I can have plastic surgery to change anything it would be my chin and look like Jim Carrey on Me, Myself, and Irene. I've questioned my rising being so early but the subtle elements make me realize why that is. Side note, my Dad had yellow eyes.

Hmm, not a rule being broken, I actually feel like a lot of rules/laws are unjust and encroach on sovereign freedom. For me, injustice is more like, bullying, or abuse, or cowardly behaviour towards innocents like children and animals. I will fight for strangers if it happens in front of me, impossible to just stand by and witness injustice abuse or tyranny on any level. It's not necessarily an easy aspect of this placement. After the fire inside has risen to incredible heights, fuelling you to speak or act, it dies down and you're left zapped of energy, takes a few days to equilibrate and feel ok again.

I wonder where your Saturn is because as a leo ascendant I personally feel that saturn is such a key player in the development of the Leo rising besides the Sun of course. Saturn brings leo down to earth over and over again, and it tends to ironically show a path for me unexpectedly. As long as I am humble and patient and logical of course but yea I think this lends to a strange shyness. I also have Taurus rising in D9 with a strong Moon in Taurus placement in d1 as ruler of 12th house. I feel super spiritual with a crazy ego about it as leo rising.

A chess grand master maybe able to play a game of chess blindfolded, it does not mean he should be venerated for his views on social policy because he is "clever". True is wisdom is knowing ones own sphere of competence. I think there are flaws within vedic society and no society is based on perfect wisdom. Utopian thinking often leads to genocide. Many ideas such as the bread and peace promoted by socialism, and its policy's were not workable in reality as such they lead to starvation and death, hence why china took on a capitalist hybrid system. The lack of personal incentive lead to tyranny. Also the modern desire for "equality" many of which is pushed for by many female politicians actually leads to bad outcomes and is no wisdom at all. It leads to depriving the most competent of opportunity because something appears "fairer". Life is about trade offs fundamentally. The amount of policy's i can list that sound wise and were supposed to benefit those worst off that turned out to disaster. I dont agree with the view that the wise should be venerated more than those taking responsibility for decision making. Thomas Sowell the american economist did great work on this is highly recommend his insights. To be frank you and i are astrologers, Our area of competence is not in preaching how society's should be arranged.

My face disagrees with this lol, body is pretty hourglass-y too...hmm. Yeah, the further I listen the more I have to disagree, I have the lions mane, I was told by a hiardresser I had the thickest type of hair.
We don't go live in caves anymore. We just live reclusive lives in cities where we can disappear into the masses and be left alone. I'm up on the mountain through consciousness 50% of the time these days. My chart is a blend of equal masculine and feminine. I need nature to recharge and living in a city surrounded by nature is my heaven on earth. As for ancient ideas of masculine and feminine. I'm pretty sure they understood that masculine and feminine are really nothing but energies. All the kids are doing today is pushing the boundaries and telling people to accept themselves as they are more than they try to fit the expectations of society. A good example is you can't tell every man that he's not nurturing anymore than you can tell every woman that she is nurturing. According to the Vedas Purusha is the soul/Sun and Prakriti is the mind/moon
The soul is the one supposed to be in control of the mind and not the other way around. because Prakriti isn't rational, it's emotional and hence it's decision making abilities are flawed in multiple ways.
It tends not to differentiate between right and wrong, instead it looks for the victim, the weaker one and tries to protect it no matter if the weaker one has been right or not because it doesn't have the discretionary ability to do so.
