Good job Mate. I'm glad the Booster Plug met your expectations. It is a simple install, just a plug and play. The hard part is moving the fuel tank out of the way to get to the air box. The Booster Plug plugs into the AIT (Air Inlet Temp) on the air box. Then place the resistor/probe in an area that gets fresh cool air. Fools the ECU (engine control unit) into thinking the inlet air temps are at 68fegF. So it richens the fuel mixture by 6%. All of this according to the Booster Plug folks. (Great people BTW) Gets rid of that annoying on/off throttle response or lean condition at certain rpms.
Your videos are always helpful. Is there anyway that you could tell me which way the two fuel lines on the left side of the tank get connected? I think one is a fuel return and a vent maybe? My tank is marked with a blue dot but neither hose is marked. One of the hoses runs down through the bike and out by the kickstand, should it be connected to the port on the tank with the blue dot or the other port? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was hoping I could see it in your video but no luck finding anything
good video there john I'm convinced plus detail information from Allen aswell. Can't wait for my booster plug to arrive. Its still with customs in Sydney.
Sorry mate I can't help you there! Some people say it removes the strong engine braking to answer your question - but me I haven't noticed strong engine braking myself!
Cool ! Are you feeling the difference at lower RPMs ? I know that some Premium Motorcycles come equipped with “Low RPM Stabilizers” to reduce Engine knocking at low RPMs.. Does this booster do the same job ? Riding at less than 2500 RPMs almost always in my crowded Indian city, I’d be most benefited from such an accessory !
The Booster Plug great idea, plus have a look at the REKLUSE clutch, fantastic in traffic plus you cannot stall the bike, takes the stress out of the ride, you can Evan ride it one handed, which I don't Advise..
Hi John, Now that you have had the Booster Plug on your bike for awhile are you still happy with it, was it worth the investment? I have been thinking about getting one. Thanks Bill
Great explanation as to what causes the engine breaking and how this plug fixes it. Cheers

John, you always put out a great video!
Just waiting for my Booster Plug to arrive here in the UK.

No worries mate! You'll be happy you bought it!
Thanks for the video mate, really helped
A good review buddy and I look forward to ya next one 🤙
Thanks mate! I appreciate it!
Hi, is the booster plug also removing this strong engine breaking in 1st and 2nd gear?
Sorry mate I can't help you there! Some people say it removes the strong engine braking to answer your question - but me I haven't noticed strong engine braking myself!
yeah it helps with it
Yes, makes a huge difference. Feels like coasting in a car rather than dropping an anchor and dragging it.

Yes you would benefit from the Booster Plug! As said in the video the Booster Plug made all the difference at low revs!

John I see you have the Corbin seat
Do they have in all sizes, I'm 5.5ins
I have the rejust seat, ?
Sorry mate I just noticed your comment! I haven't heard of the REKLUSE clutch and so I can't comment sorry
The Corbin seat that I bought is for the Vulcan S and it is just the one size! Hope that helps!
Is this likely to cause a Vulcan to fail an emissions test in the UK?
I don't believe so! Besides the Booster Plug can be easily removed if having an emissions test!
@@kwakajohn2391 Epic, cheers mate. 👍

G'day Bill! Yeah the Booster Plug is great and does exactly what it is supposed to do! I thoroughly recommend it!
@@kwakajohn2391 Thank you John, it has good reports so I will add it to my mod list.
Will the booster plug affect on speed or acceleration any how?
G'day Aris! No it doesn't! in fact after 3000 revs the Booster Plug does not affect the bike at all! The Vulcan S runs normally after 3000 revs!
@@kwakajohn2391 Oh OK. Thanks for the reply
No worries mate!
I discovered a similar outcome by removing the Lams plug. Of course that would be illegal so it might have been a dream....
No worries mate! I'm sure it was just a dream!
